Soviet doctrine states that every soviet 12 man squad should have a DP light machine gunn and 3 ppsh submachine guns. Where did all these weapons go? I suspect that all automatic weaponry was given away to partisans and irregurals, leaving the red army in a very dire situation where they have only rifles. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Big Balance Thread.2 Jul 2014, 07:05 AM all of these suggestions are terrible except maybe the t-70 and blitzkrieg one, but even those are fairly questionable. The most retarded one is the PIV health buff. The panzer IV already fires alot faster, if they get indentical health, then a PIV would win vs a t-34/85 most of the times. If you nerf t-34 health, then buff it's armor up to 200 for the t-34/76 and 240 for the t-34/85. (PIV having more armor than t-34 makes absolutely zero sense) And please, if you don't like panzer IV, make some stug. Just some stug. Stug is good. They work wonders vs t-34/85s, most people will disagree with me, because you can't a-move stugs, but stugs work nicely. Cruzz explained everything very well. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Official Obersoldaten OP Thread2 Jul 2014, 07:02 AM i think they are fine really, they come out late, and as US forces you should have a sherman/bulldozer/m8 scott to deal with them. Not to mention that frag grenades deal with them very well. Soviets got lots of things to. Snipers, shock troops in ambush, hell even ppsh cons have a chance vs them at close range (but ppsh is still a downgrade in my opinion), maxims, altho maxims sometimes get obliterated before they can even set up.
