I'll have to doublecheck whether there is a CD with the main-gun. Most of the time I use tulips, the fire just after the main gun has fired. Thus, the cooldown (if it even exists) is not noticeable.
With the tulip stun, it is a hell lot easier to hit moving targets. Most axis tanks will have to stop (decelerate) to really hit anything. Thus, if you lead the tulips adequately enough, the first will freeze the target dead-on-the-spot and the second will also hit (modulo elevation issues).
JTs are also not an issue in 1v1s. However, they are very efficient for their cost for anything higher than that. That's not a good excuse to leave the tulips at this state.
Well, I rememeber when I used tulips last time that Firefly was waiting to shoot like 5-6secs after tulips.
____
I did I test.
First shot -> tulips -> second shot.
Tulips can be used AFTER shot, but after trulips, FF needs like 10-11secs to fire again.
Personally, I think that the new firefly is waaaaayyy stronger with the new Tulips. In team-games, the stunning tulips make fielding expensive vehicles a joke, really. With the reload speed bonus, it's a straight buff, really.
But the tulips are not that easy to hit against vehicle in move + they share CD with main gun. In 1v1 it's hardly an issue I guess.
Not sure I follow what you mean by tests, there. Anyway, there are still a few blacksmiths working with traditional methods.
Well, maybe I did not understand you but you said something about fight and dent - therefore I said that any dents in metal maybe by sword/axe/whatever are not very accurate becasue blacksmiths may work in a traditional way but they don't have traditional materials.
On a separate note: reenactors do get used in quite a few movies. They'a real boon for movie makers, actually - all those extras who buy their own costumes, its awesome.
Have you seen "Barbarians Rising" a small serie by HISTORY? Garden me, if they hired reanactores, they hired the worst possible ones.
Great pics. I don't do this stuff myself, but I love that it happens, as well as the HEMA scene (for the most part). I own a replica Norman sword myself, and went to see some jousting at the Royal Armouries in Leeds some years back; saw Dr Tobias Capwell fight. After his bout, he had a dent in his harness big enough that you could slide a finger between the plates.
Personally I'm not a fan of any tests. Why? Becasue we don't have materialis like people way before us, so in most cases tests don't give you best result.
As for the sword, I will post photos of mine (2 layered) soon
PogChamp cools pics, clothes and helmets .
Like things like this, why people like reenactors dont invita at movie pudding hollywood scrubs
Will wait more stuff like this.
On a serious note, Hitler should never have started the war with Russia when the UK was at his back. It gave the US a landing and preparation place to invade the mainland. If the US couldn't land troops in Europe it probably would focused its efforts in the East.
Taking out the UK would also have stopped the strategic bombing of German industry and the lend-lease to Russia (or at least made it easier to attack the supply coming form the US).
After that the same old Hitler should have let his generals fight the war and, miss-allocation of resources and of command etc etc.
But Soviets would have
It was like:
A - let's attack them when they are not 100% ready.
B - wait until they are ready and let them attack us.
