Community based feedback is all over the place, top players will identify issues, issues will be addressed and then a mass of vippers, wolfes and others will just swarm in with polar opposite ideas. You can't have higher infantry lethality and lower infantry lethality and so on. In: COH2 Balance

There's plenty of options to give utility instead of pure combat power via their weapons. Again, like what? Grens have medkits, pios have incread sight, both can build bunkers, they obviously can't be given sandbags, explosives make no sense on them, neither do sweepers, 7th man adds pure combat power, they already have fausts, there is stock AT squad, it doesn't make much sense for them to repair and already PGs get that ability through another doctrine, flares are completely unsuitable for them and their theme. These guys were guarding railways from partisans IRL. In: COH2 Balance

Unlike Grens they are not meant for dealing a lot of damage, yet they get a simple DPS buff. While that is a way to balance them, it is probably the most boring solution. It might be, but then again, what do people expect? Ultra niche specialization that will throw them into pit of irrelevance? They are cheap combat mainline alternative, again, what kind of utility people expect them to get? 7th man? What kind of utility makes sense for "the cheap, poor equipped and barely trained squad"? LMGs weren't exactly uncommon. In: COH2 Balance

This change makes them pretty similar to Grens. Decent squad with snare and good long range lategame performance. The only difference is the model count. So if both units are stock, there would be no reason to go Grens. I still dont know why Osttruppen - the cheap, poor equipped and barely trained squad (ingame and historical) - gets a lmg. Or am i wrong here? Is there no solid idea around giving them more utility instead of this? Being a meat shield, low attrition squad is their utility. I don't know what you expect here. Grens do not get AT weapon, still can't have short range camo now that it is meta and lives up to full potential. So again, irrelevant. Those rules are simply made up (by you). And they are perfectly in line with changes that happened in game over time. Time to accept and cope. Once more simply wrong. AT partisan have have both a snare and mobile camo. Can even plant mines. Exception only confirms the rule. Plus, AT partisans aren't exactly potent compared to [insert a unit with AT snare or AT weapon that isn't partisan here]. Oh, and AT partisans do not have 4 detection range either. In: COH2 Balance
