So.... get elephant/JT instead?
Also how do you want to buff Tigers AT vs meds?
It penns them all 100% of the time and has fastest reload of all heavies while outranging all meds from get go. |
I am not sure why you want bring the history of Ostheer patches up, no matter what the history is the fact remains that Ostheer did not perform good in the last tournament.
If you want to bring up tournaments to justify what needs buffs, then we should leave ost for now and focus on buffing UKF more, because clearly, according to last tourmanent, they need it much more then ost and are in much worse and weaker state. |
The problem is, the current meta is "60 range-TDs". After the Tiger is nerfed, OST really isn't going to have all that much in terms of vehicle based AI that will actually work in late game. Ostwinds and P4s will get deleted by M36s, SU85s and even FFs.
And it'll always be meta as long as both axis factions spam nothing more then P5 and P6.
You see, you think Tiger is a cure.
Its not.
Together with other heavies, its the cause of pretty much all problems.
If there is no danger of heavy tanks, there is no reason to build more then 1 TD and if you can't play around 1 TD, you REALLY need to improve. |
Check the patch notes you will find plenty of buffs to allied faction other the buff to riflemen including a tech change in USF and a number of buff to support weapons weapons.
Check the number of support weapons used by USF in the last tournament compared to Ostheer.
And if you check patch notes, you'll notice that over last 2-3 years the only ost units that weren't buffed are P4, pwerfer, sniper, pak and mortar. Some were buffed to the point when they had to be additionally nerfed afterwards. |
Someone forgot to tell Hans that brummbar is super up and needs buffs and he, being unaware, got it to vet3 by wrecking everything that has legs with it. |
That's just the result of the helplessness and the devs not wanting to fix the fucking faction. It is a farce at this point.
Because devs can't patch noob out of players....
|
You asked and you shall receive. I have never seen volks winning one on one engagement against rifleman if they both have same cover. Not even going to count 2 minute pineapples that you can throw. Link: https://www.coh2.org/topic/98344/rifles-overperforming/page/9
And... which part of that post makes you think I'm talking about rifles here?
Is it the part where I specifically name cons? |
You do realize OKW has even faster access to the Puma than the Soviets have access to the T70 and it’s not an issue, right? T70 is perfectly viable vs okw despite the puma meta.
And as I have already said, they are paying for that with no healing, which means greater muni expenditude or greater attrition, puma is also never build first-luchs is, unless you lost early game, in which case you failed at OKW.
Seriously, argument like that equals to "lets give soviets stock LMGs, it works for UKF, so it'll work for soviets too!". |
Concerning puma I would say moving it to t3 build will be a fine idea, or decrease cp requirement to 4Ass grens dont wreck anything if you "anticipate" them, and they are far worse then grens as closing distance causes a lot of health loss and up to 2 models being lost, especially against brits and americans.
You've completely missed the point I was making. Shock units have short window of opportunity, if their hardcounters arrive too soon, they are either removed from the game or in need of a buff - do you want to have early puma at potential cost of even stronger T-70? Because its very unlikely it'll keep getting nerfed.
I know you are valiant allies defender and think that axis are overpowered ,but with this attitude you will get nowhere.
I dare you to find a singular post I made across last 2 years that would even remotely point to that.
If you can't do that, then keep the strawman away, there are no crows here to scare away. |
Or.... could it be.... after years and years of balancing.... the one last thing that needs any major changes and improvements.... is you? |
