If risk is too high for you, you don't go to forum to make 1000 posts about removal/reduction of risk, you don't do risky thing. Different BOs and placements of defensive structures work differently depending of game mode. Nothing wrong with that, just don't put trucks forward in 4v4 if you don't want to lose access to units that require tech, wether they are doctrinal or not. Heavies aren't command vehicles either. This name is currently confusing just like you said. Its only to excuse a non heavy being limited to 1. Just slap "command vehicle" or "officer" somewhere in the units name, sometimes without even any special ability(valentine) and there, suddenly you can limit to 1 a regular unit. In: Lobby

And yeah If you meant that cons without upgrades and after WFA release were rarely spammed effectively then sure, but that's not what was stated. You know a unit is broken up if it can be used exclusively with doctrine. Ppsh cons were never problem, stock ones were. That is why stock cons got upgrade. In: COH2 Balance

Actually, there was. That's one single reason why Cons can no longer equip 2 weapons.... You have to get by using dual LMG penals, but they cope somehow. And now that you mention it.... I just had an idea for a strat, you know, back then UKF basically sacrificed upgrades for tommies to equip cons, which wasn't all that amazing for brit player, however now, with airborne, sov can GIVE muni to UKF for these LMGs, so it might be a really neat idea to do so as sov basically pays for LMGs and brit does not give up anything themselves. Well, pretty much whole doctrinal philosophy was completely flipped.
