I honestly think they're underrated.

Yes, you would need 5 to 6 of them to do any significant damage if all you had was PIATs, but then again you shouldn't have just PIATs.

Look at it this way:
It used to be that with a double 6-pdr you had access to pretty much all the AT you would ever need to take out a tank, and you could get em pretty early game. But with the manpower increase, getting that 2nd 6-pdr early is more risky. PIATs allow you to offset some of that AT manpower cost into ammo. You could do it before as well, it's just that you didn't need to most of the time.

Since Brits don't have much ammo expenses early game, it's easy to get 2-3 PIATs as soon as you unlock them as well as 1-2 Brens. In conjunction with the AT-gun, you'll be secured against light vehicle play while Brens secure you against heavy infantry builds. I would advise against double PIATs on a single IS because you want them to remain flexible. Go for a mix of Bren and PIATs for that bit of mobile AT or double Bren for that anti-inf wiping power.

I wouldn't be against an increase in projectile speed for PIATs but I don't think they should be significantly more reliable than they are now. Their goal is to tip the scales in your favor, not to win with no other support.

Tho it looked interesting, I bought act of agression, and it was a complete fail. It came out like 3 months ago, and there is only 1 or 2 people streaming with no viewers. That was the first video game i bought since coh2. Or halo anniversary. And it was a waste of money. So I'm sceptical about trying new games out :/

I was also looking forward to AA and it had potential but after seeing a few streams it was obvious the game gravely lacked depth. The UX is also horrible.

Last RTS I purchased was Stronghold Crusader 2. More than any other RTS in recent years, I think that game had the potential to succeed. The developers just lacked the proper vision for it which is sad. They designed the game to cater to skirmish players. There's no auto-match, no ranking, and multiplayer in general is really unstable.

Since release, all they did was release new maps and Ai characters .

Back when it was Hardware: Shipbreakers it was described as "the world's first planetary-scale social strategy game."

Hopefully, it's not Clash of Clans.

4s is the most popular game mode. This is the way the game is now - we cater for the majority, not the minority.

Catering to the majority is discriminatory. Relic should cater to all its player base while not
discriminating any subset.

All bickering aside, we've lost focus here. Rather than attacking respective game modes we should look for balance in all game modes and as a whole for coh2. We all enjoy this game, we all want balance. Let's get back to business and figure out a remedy to the problem.

The takeaway earlier was that known pop bugs are a big factor for balance this patch. If we're lucky, we're going to see a hotfix soon addressing those bugs with very minimal balance changes and see how that goes.
