Thread: ISU 152 AP ROUNDS need pen buff?29 Apr 2016, 09:25 AM The 152 AP rounds are supposed to only be mediocre for the sake of balance. It would be a bit awkward when the ISU152 can rival the anti-tank firepower of the Elephant and Jagdtiger but also switch to being a squad-wiping machine when there are no tanks around. That is why the AP rounds from the ISU152 only have half the penetrating power when compared with rounds from the Elephant. In: COH2 Balance

Normally I shroud an entire VP/fuel pt in mines No not the whole map. You just have to keep tabs on where your opponent has send his engineers in the early game. If he has gone to the east side of the map, you can be as aggressive as you like on the west side. If you then send troops to the east, you just have to make to avoid good mine spots and sure not to exit buildings from a different side of which you entered. And get a sweeper squads soon after. I think full damage is better. How it is now is just silly. If you get hit by your own grenade or rocket arty, it is your own fault. Likewise, you shouldn't be able to assist a push from one of your allies by just mindlessly carpet bombing an area with rockets, hitting your allies as much as you are hitting your enemies, and then having your rockets barely do any damage to your allies while wrecking the enemy. If he is not getting a flamer the same time you are, it means that he has very likely gone for some early mines. At this point its best to play carefully, avoiding common mine locations and follow up with a minesweeper soon if you want to go aggressive. In: Ostheer Strategies

Thread: M10 call-in is too strong compared to Puma call-in26 Apr 2016, 22:05 PM The Puma is probably the better tank hunter pound for pound. It can spot for itself and use its 50 range advantage against medium tanks that only have 40 range. The vet 1 ability of the puma (target weakpoint for Ost, Aimed shot for OKW) allows it to quite consistently solo enemy medium tanks. M10 on the other hand can't spot for itself as far as I am aware. It's also significantly more expensive than the puma while not providing any particular better anti-tank firepower than the Puma. It also lacks any form of machine guns to damage infantry from range like the Puma can. The M10 can however crush quite well, which the Puma can't. Overall I would say both units are fine.
