Thread: So what's new?19 May 2014, 15:06 PM I'm sorry I won't be giving it a try until all the DLC commanders become free or are removed. When I play online games I take them seriously. I want to try out the commanders so I can figure out how they work more effectively and therefore how to counter them/use them. With DLC commanders that becomes a never-ending cycle or spending more and more money on the game. It just cannot be a competitive game with this DLC policy in place for other obvious reasons. I don't mind spending like £1.50 on a skin though. I have already spent about £12 on DLC commanders and I felt dirty afterwards and I stopped playing soon after. I would spend that money on skins for sure if they were cheap. If the expansion removes DLC from automatch the I will come back. Otherwise not. Thanks for the info In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: So what's new?19 May 2014, 14:49 PM I stopped playing COH2 around December due to the DLC commanders. I just wanted to know what has changed since then? Are they still hammering out DLC commanders? There must be 1 million by now right? Are there any signs that they will abolish the DLC commanders? It upsets me. COH2 could be such an amazing game. Without DLC this would be an amazing game. Instead they have destroyed the competitive aspect of the game. What Relic has to realise is that they are competing with other titles that don't have such ridiculous milking strategies. I have simply switched to a game that doesn't treat its community like idiots. Perhaps when they release an expansion they could get rid of DLC commanders or remove them from Automatch? Is this possible? If they do they I will come back for sure. The game will probably be dead by then though. OK thanks, I just wanted to QQ dreaming about how good this game should have been. Having said that, I think the hardcore 1v1 players would not mind investing some money into Relic if they have produced a really good game which they play a lot. But with DLC and pay to win commanders, it is not a good game! I am uninstalling this piece of shit that feels like a BAD free to play browser MMO. Enough is enough. I paid full price for this game and persuaded my friend to buy it. Now, my friend hates me and I feel like I've been fucked up the ass for £40! And another £2.99 if you want some lube. Never buying a Relic game ever again. Their attitude stinks. At one point, the producer Wilson douche said you needed DLC to fund things like the World Builder. Errrr, mate, your devs were already using the World Builder to make maps for the game! Granted, you had to polish it up a little, but of course you want to give the community a world builder because it adds value to YOUR game for FREE. So many lies. It's like listening to a bad used-car salesman. I'm done. Fuck you. In: COH2 Balance

I have never tried SC2. I know the competitive scene is quite big, but does it have any pay 2 win bs? Micro transactions which fuck with the core gameplay? In: Other Games

I mean ffs... I can't make out what each commander does from a 5px by 5px ultra-compressed jpeg on steam store. Especially when you have, like, ten million commanders. Is there really any need for that many? Why make the game even more confusing for new players? I have a really awful feeling that some really bad decisions have been made with this game. In: Lobby
