That's the second instance of avoidance. The problem is with automatcher. The solution is not play 1v1. It's not play AT. Those are different solutions. I could just as easily not load up the game and call that a solution. The matcher is broken for 2v2, 3v3, and 4v4.
A little update, I let my rank in 3v3 decay from 16 to 14 and the insane handicap games eased up. So now instead of struggling af at level 1, I am now at level 10 with more competent teamates, consistently. I really don't believe it's lack of players, it's a shit algorithm in team matching.
Watch the first 7 minutes or so of this game. Axis on the left gets minesweepers prior to any detection of mine laying. Not just 1 player, but both of them. They did detect mine laying activity AFTER getting mine sweepers, when a 222 caught my m20. Curious to know if anyone can figure it out.
I mostly agree with OP, as long as the balance against infantry does not change. It's pretty damned strong against infantry right now.
The biggest point of controversy here is an increase in penetration to be effective vs the luchs. The rest of the stuff is just to deal with the pain in the ass of commanding this unit, and it is a pain because it's so clumsy.
So the question that needs to be answered is how effective should the HT be against a luchs? Should it beat it? Should it at least be close so that maybe a full barrage + a single shot from a bazooka causes it to win? I don't really want to form a full opinion on this, because I think I am a bit biased, however I do think the HT main gun should be somewhat effective at least.
I don't think weapon drops are bad, but consistency would be better. I like being able to get hold of enemy weapons and I suppose Axis gets the short end here, since they have the best toys to drop.
Vehicle abandons, I wouldn't hurt much from seeing them go and it has been a pretty controversial issue in the community. I do believe that these abandoned vehicles did happen in the war, not sure how much they were put into service however. I don't care what happens here.
Penetration system, I get the impression you don't know how it works mathematically. However, I do think you are right about consistency. The problem again, is that Axis gets the short end of the stick here, considering they hold most of the armor strong enough to cause frustrating inconsistencies. I don't know if you were around for coh1, but I don't remember the gap being so large with the armored vehicles. Some shots didn't penetrate, but it wasn't like coh2 where Axis tanks are taking no penetrating shots frequently.
Infantry rng, I would welcome the changes you propose. Cover should be emphasized even more, perhaps with offensive bonuses like the british have. The random model drops I assume you would want to see fixed by having a shot that brings a model to 0 health or below result in death. I would agree with that. Have 4 guys with 5% health is pretty shit.
Playing as Allies is simply more forgiving because their squads have more models and they have cheaper tanks.
If you fuck up as a Soviet and lose a T34, your mates won't suffer that much under your loss while Axis need to keep their units alive much more.
People that are really into CoH2 can play much better as Axis but the learning curve is way higher. It's easier for begginers to win as Allies but if you can play the game on a good level, you can win as both easily.
Yea you are right based on what you play. Considering that you don't seem to play anything above 2v2, it's not quite relevant.
I noticed the OP isn't calling for German buffs, even though the title says they are under-powered. Maybe it would have been better to say Allies overpowered.
The real reason you didn't upload a replay of your German play, is because you and your team are making giant mistakes and anyone here would tear you a new asshole for it and the lies. There is no technical problem or whatever was in that link. Putting a file on the internet in 2017 couldn't be easier. This is just a blatant and poor troll attempt.
