I played two 1v1 games last night as ostpooping. I really had a great time playing them and did really well. I think I might work it into my routine. |

first of all, its not for multiplayer, so nobody will ever report you for that.
second, its not a exploit or a hack, so for what could they ban you?
besides, i have posted this not only here, but also on the official forums and steam, and im not banned. why should you then?

I find this commander to be a lot of fun. I think in the right hands this commander can do very well. Not many people expect it and that's what makes it even more fun.
I find on more open maps with less cover that you should avoid this commander. You need lots of cover to do well.

I watched your replay. Here is what I got out of it. Keep in mined I am no expert but to me it was quite obvious.
1. Clown car came out too late. The idea of the flamer car is get the enemy before he can get his shreks, not after. You don't have much time, use that time.
2. You floated a ton of munitions. At 35 minutes you had 950! Lay mines, plant demos, anything! use your munis.
3. Motors! motors! did i mention motors? You would of totally derailed his peek-a-boo/hide-behind-wall shit by using your 120s or even your stock motors. I was screaming at the screen when I saw you build a guard and not your motors. Two 120s just in reach of his base would of wrecked his ass hard. You held the field. If you would of had 2 motors and a mg or 2 guarding them. You would of forced him to react to you.
4. Shocks troops are amazing vs OKW. Especially those who like to blob.
5. Relying on call-ins in dangerous game. At 15 minutes in you had 365 fuel. I would used at least some of that to tech and get a T70 or Katyusha.
6. T34/85s are ok vs OKW but I dont thing they are amazing. Personally I think the Is2 and ISU 152 is better. You wasted a lot of fuel on those 85s that did really nothing. Its was a total waste.
7. Any arty is really awesome verses campers. Bomb strikes. Incendiary Arty, whatever. All really good.
I am sure some expert will chime in but for now this is what I have for you. See you on the field.

It seems like unless you're at a high skill level, okw will have a significant edge against soviet. When I try a clowncar with flamer, it dies vs two squads. on a unit basis, okw is just beats soviet. okw is also a blob army so it seems difficult to outnumber.
I am very frustrated playing coh2 lately since I can't beat anyone unless I play Osteer. I'm just venting at this point. I want to get better but I have no idea how to counter okw.
I am not expert and I am not at pro but I do quite well against okw early game.
I have a typical build order. I try to rush t70 or get 2 guards up to train wreck flak-track.
I personally suffer in late game as soviets. Even I totally destroy them, okw blobs always manage to push me back and get those damn tanks out for the win.

Surprised no one has mentioned this, Rear Echelon are REALLY GOOD at killing kubles. Even 1 RE in cover can get a kuble low and force it to retreat. I always go 2 RE into rifles which allows you to field more squads earlier and flank the kuble. You're still reliant on getting to cover before the kuble attacks you, but if you're smart and don't overextend then it's easy.
Rear echelon, it's just that simple.

My current 2v2 Soviet buildorder vs OKW is about 8 conscripts with AT nades and molotovs researched situationally, medics, and once I have about 250 fuel I go T2 then straight to T3 (unless I need an AT gun), then get 2 T70s.
I find this a lot more fun than M3 fire cars and snipers, personally.
This seems like an interesting strat. I am really excited to try it out.

M36 and Major in general is required against supported heavier armor in the late game.
M10 can work in those rough tough games where you wont see a heavy tank,maybe a panther or two, and the guy is good at cutting off your resources and you cant tech to a major cleanly.(Khlodony ferma right side for example)
Its OKAY against the P4. nothing special
But thats about it...
Like guy above me said its GREAT for CRUSHING inf and desperate AT ,like a fast luchs thats ripping you apart and all you have is LT or something..but even then it comes so late youd be better off just hanging in there till a major anyway..
if you want to play for doctrinal armor with no major,rifle company is way better.
If the M10 came at 5,or 6 CP then it would be epic. but it doesnt. so its not really in the meta,and kinda useless and overshadowed.
So help me understand. The M36 is better against heavier armor such as a tiger, KT, or otherwise. While the M10 is more for Panthers/P4s etc. |

I am just curious which is the better choice? Are there situations where one is better then other one?
Personally I see very little difference. The m36 packing slightly more punch and having a tiny bit more survivability.
What you guys think?
