Good Work Man. You have my Thumbs up,however while you are at it. You could consider making stuff like this for Romania,Finland,Slovakia and Croatia as well. They also send Divisions to help Germany and suffered huge losses as well. But all in all nice work.

Nice article, well written, but the faction design looks WAY too much like just an other Ostheer. Would be neat for a player mod(if Relic ever allowed model designs into the game), but not really adding anything other than a few Hungary units(maybe as a call-in units for a Ostheer doctrine)?
Well they are somewhere between a full faction and a commander. One reason I capped Panthers and Tigers at one each was to in effect force the use of factional armour. |

I'll say it as many times as is needed. That many MP and MU from any nation will wipe a single MG unless spent on nothing but rear echelon with sweepers. There is nothing unique here except the weapon involved.

Def doc is best used vs OKW, trust me, Dshka countered even Obers before this "balance patch" it just deals a lot of damage, 45mm gun is good vs anything that OKW can get (except KT and panthers), AI mines are good vs some expensive stuff to reinforce like 50% OKW units and are really cheap (7 muni?), tank traps aren't so great but they at least give green cover

But Dishka comes in Lend Lease and the 45mm is in Urban Defence - where it is a bit more potent inside the FHQ aura |
I haven't noticed the AI to have a set build order, it does however tech linearly and doesn't necessarily build the best units it has available.
So it will progress T1, T2, T3, T4 - even with Sovs, and it will build M3s and Scout Cars when it could have tanks
It also never uses off map strikes so far as I can see.
It is however, a total bitch about harassing and flank capping and a complete pain with anything that spans behind the lines.
Which is why there is a limit to what playing with the AI can teach you, real players skip tiers, tech faster and pump out the best units they can.
The first thing you may find when playing real players is that your expectation of what units to expect when will be completely wrong. |
they're ok. the soviet one is hampered by DShKs being shit and both of them have issues with czech hedgehogs being cp3 but there isn't anything fundamentally wrong with them.
Soviet Defensive Commander has nothing beyond CP2; and almost everything in both is available in better doctrines.

There is one guy I know who uses Soviet Defensive Commander and makes it work.

Last time Relic let community do something we got defensive commanders, which are quite literally THE most useless and unfun commanders to play so.... yeah....

Expect to lose a lot until you get better, this is normal
Especially as for the first 10 matches in each mode and faction you get ranked randomly |
