Many top-tiered players are toxic as well. If they manage to lose it is all about cheese or broken mechanics. And if you adress their mistakes they immediately jump on you with personal insults. Will not name anyone but lets say they have many viewers on stream .
I think the most tolerant tier of players is ranked 10 - 150, at least in my experience.
The funniest thing is when top-tier players loudly complains at "abusive" mechanics just to resort to using them themselves. The irony )
lol who actually believes that the reason coh2 is never gonna become an esport lies in the gameplay sector?
Some actual reasons:
1. There aren't enough competitive players. Because of that automatch doesn't offer a decent competitive training environment which leads to people not becoming better which in turn makes it impossible to aquire a decent competitive playerbase. There's also no one who wants to play custom matches people still prefer automatches over custom games for more effective training.
2. CoH2 has never been marketed as an Esport or even a multiplayer game. Most reviews I've read consider CoH2 a singleplayer game with the multiplayer as some sort of "arcadish" additional gimmick. The public perception of the CoH2 MP basically couldn't be further away from being an Esport.
etc etc
THIS. They failed hard at any small attempts for marketing the game in a multiplayer perspective, the main focus up until 6 months ago was always Singleplayer, sadly. I.e. balance being off from the get go, DLC overload, multiplayer always being a "work in progress", lack of respect to players, bugs, optimization issues, false promises etc.. They have made progress, admittedly, but at a very slow pace(2 and a half years to be exact.)
The hope for relic to see this and make 20-21 Mp reinforce Partisans would be... Awesome.
+1
Partysans are initially useful for what they're designed for, but after doing their job the mp upkeep cost and scaling of Partysans into the late game can be somewhat difficult(unless you're on maps like semois summer), especially if you acquire more than two squads of them. At the moment I like the way Partysans are currently designed, however I feel a slight reduction in mp reinforcement cost would be a good idea.
I think it would be neat to design the bofors like the AA guns OKW has in their bases, where two incendiary grenades can take out the crew of the bofors and allow for it to be re-crewed, or two rifle nades. This way a simple distraction of the bofors while two units flank and clear it(to possibly be re-crewed by one of said units) could also become an option.
This is hilarious. First it was top 200. Then it was top 150. Then 100, then 50. Now we're at top 20...
Vindi and all you other coh "pro's". If you're really right, and balancing should only be based upon the top players, then most of you should also be disqualified from talking.
Why? Because you always get rekt by the best players (all the time, every time), so, using your own argument, you are not in a position to talk about the game, as you're simply not good enough at the highest level.
Basically, using your own gauge, the only players that should be listened to and post are (in no particular order):
Barton
Luvnest
Helping Hans
Jesulin
Jove
Paul.a.D
There would be others, but they aren't around anymore it seems. The rest of you need to get out imo (based on your own criteria), until you start consistently beating that list of players with Allies (as they are clearly better players than all of you, thus showing an imbalance). This includes the OP.
I'm still alive.
I would say early-mid game is definitely allied favored. Late game Axis are at more of an advantage. My biggest issue, and as many have stated is the whole DLC phenomenon still occurring as we speak. That and the fact of axis infantry having trouble getting a foothold until they have vet, though once they attain high levels of vet they become quite effective.
Something you have to expect if you participate in a tourney meant to be played 9 hours before your timezone.
I don't like rescheduling matches during a weak where I have other things to do. It gets you out of the Sunday tournament mood and feeling, especially the final. Interestingly enough, the ESL admin said to postpone the final. Why we need him to play the match wonders me though.
There are no plans right as of when the matches are going to happen.
I agree, he should have pre-planned, guess he wasn't expecting so many people to sign-up for EU.
Increase received accuracy for nearly the same effect.
This.
I also would like a change to the way an Ost sniper can fire it's special ability. As of this moment I am tired of getting squad wipes thanks to the double 2 second fire rate of the sniper when using said ability. True, it is 45 munis and it should still effectively be used, but not in it's current state. I would suggest adding a 2 second extension(more time to aim) to the ability so that it can still be utilized but not be ridiculous, especially since it is usually 100% accurate.
