This would be so awesome to have on any map imo, highly recommend to other custom map makers for the contest! Special thanks to Maxaug999 for asking about it.
Inspired by recent events supporting change I thought it'd be cool if I set up a poll on which doctrines people use most/least, and which are useful/useless. If you think more than one doc is useless, or more than one doc is really effective, or have an opinion on the matter please feel free to reply.
If you have no idea about some of the commanders or just can't seem to recall which commander does what then check out this updated tool to find out: http://commanders.rogerholmgren.com/
Also if you want to list which items in the current doctrines you think are the most useless/never used please feel free to do so.
Here is my list:
-On a more personal note I hope Relic sees this and realizes how flawed this commander system is.....
-I also support more variety please in doctrines, having the same ability in 9 Commanders is.....well......boring to say the least.
I see the point of a top-tier balance forum, but how many of the top 200 players are just biased, flavour-of-the-month abusers that don't want their strat nerfed? It's not an easy thing to fix by any means.
+1 The best players to find are those good at the game(not awesome), aren't afraid of trying new strategies that seem useless to the masses, and aren't biased with either faction(meaning they play both at around the same amount of games/rankings).
You smack them in the face with the truth, and move along.
Best thing to do is ignore them afterwards.......sooner or later they either A. Give Up. Or B. Lose Credibility from the majority of people reading.(Which in turn causes them to go into fit mode and eventually get invisi'd by the admins)
Nothing wrong with playing to win, but it'd be nice if the "top" players tried to figure out how to win with the faction that everyone thinks is under-powered instead of doing the same boring strategy every game.
