I feel the only change I personally would like to see on the maxim is a change in how they setup, instead of clumping up, if they were spread out a little more that would be the perfect way to balance them instead of buffing them again and having Maxim spam 2.0 come back into the fray.
WC51 can be the difference between winning and losing. Therefore that commander rocks.
Sure it makes it much easier to take on the kubel early game, but at the same time you can also take on the kubel without it and use much better docs for mid/late game. Would I say you would lose without it? Nope. I've countered it as USF without the WC51 since the launch of USF.
Einhoven is a kinda-decent(on a good day) 1v1 map, better than stalingrad or la glaize, but not as good as some other maps. It's sorta similar to Semois summer in the fact that it is more favorable to flank/take adv of shot blockers.
But I feel it is more in-tune with 2v2, than 1v1. Though I also believe it is more 1v1 favored for the allies, especially USF if you get everything right. It is a weak map when playing Ostheer in 1v1 I noticed because of all the shotblockers/flanking roots making pak usage almost impossible in most parts of the map. So I find Ostheer are weakest on it in 1v1, OKW has more of an edge though I find, than Ostheer but aren't as powerful as USF/Sov, though still good on the map if you play your cards right.
Personally I feel it should stay in 2v2, and I have mixed feelings on it being in 1v1, it's fine for OKW(stretching it) and very good for USF/Sov, but as Ostheer it's more of a challenge unless you go straight to t3 and pull it off.
Is it too vast? Na, Crossing is about the same size, just more open.
Now I think the real question here is, will the main gun be usable? (I believe it will). Since the VCoH calliope was unable to use it's main gun for balance reasons.
Pershing shouldn't be too bad imo considering most USF armor gets rekt.
USF life hard? It's actually become a lot easier this patch considering stugE got nerfed, engine crits only occur after a bit of dmg, and the Tiger is limited to 1. HMG got buffed, and so did the Stuart.
I don't. I've lost several engagements already purely because of this new feature. Getting your most valuable squads immediately removed from a fight by gren blob suppression is about as game breaking as the March deployment was.
