Unless you're suggesting getting 7CP for the puma in 6 minutes... Just stand in the arc of your base machine guns and those will kill his halftrack. In Alpha the trucks gave more resource when locked down now they don't so it doesn't see to make any sense that they should still have 2/3 resources. Discuss. It is that the armour is lower on the rear. With tanks this is important for deflection but with this halftrack it honestly doesnt matter much. Any meaningful AT will always penetrate a halftrack. It is true that small arms has a higher chance to penetrate but if you see how fast it suppresses units you dont take much small arms damage anyway. Really? I had thought it had a bonus damage multiplier. What about criticals? In: COH2 Balance

How, exactly? He buys himself 2-3 minutes and maybe a few resource points, but this game is so forgiving as long as you don't lose any squads you can just poop out a puma or something. With that kind of start you're going to have map control against Americans anyway if he doesn't get early nades. Thread: American Fast Medic Start 229 Jun 2014, 01:19 AM Unfortunately, the medic had to abandon his ambulance so it kind of screwed me early on. Some fun tactics in this game though. Sherman smoke barrage to cover retreat, capping all over the map. Should have got an mg sooner though when he had such a large infantry horde. In: Replays

I've played games against OKW where they only controlled 2-3 points and they were fine because VP's take 50 minutes to tick down and they just have to hold out until I bleed myself dry economically and they can push back. Map control isn't very important in CoH2 as long as you can hold a munis/fuel point, which on a lot of maps they're pretty damn close to each other so it's no big deal. (Langres for example is awful for this.) In: COH2 Balance

Bleeding manpower is what wins you the game, as you'll gain such a huge economical advantage in the late game. Work on your mortar micro and maybe consider using bunker MG's (either to garrison your mg or as an emplacement) to help control key areas. I'd also recommend using a sniper against americans for this reason. In: COH2 Balance
