Zis guns for any armor harassmen which can also use the abusive barrage for those who even contemplate grouping together. Biggest problem is the durability and supression of the squad. Merge is also a joke as they can continue to reinforce This is the sort of thing that you win via positioning and coordination. Out maneuver the AT guns, flank the maxims. Good flak track usage will easily beat multiple maxims, as long as you can avoid the Zis. It's easy to theorycraft "He builds lots of maxims and a zis and then rushes tanks" and it definitely is a viable strategy, but the counter is also equally viable it's a matter of outplaying your opponent. Point is that the X amount MP should beat Y amount is a bad one, as how you use your units and counters should be more important. This is true, but at some point you're going to be overwhelmed. It's no different than how 1 AT gun isn't going to hold off two tanks on its own. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: What happened to blizzards?13 Jul 2014, 20:22 PM I think if they doubled fire pit radius, they'd be fine. The radius is stupidly stifling. Infantry don't freeze to death that fast, and you can always just build a firepit. I really enjoyed how reduced visibility made attacking the enemy easier (Suddenly emplacements became less effective), transports and garrisons became more important for visibility and warmth, deepsnow and ice added depth to pathing your units around the map intelligently etc etc. Seems to me like none of you who hate them bothered to actually adapt to them properly and just ran your units around with their heads cut off through the snow. Thread: What happened to blizzards?13 Jul 2014, 08:23 AM Snow semois and La Gleize don't have blizzards. Are there even any other maps in 1v1 that have them other than kholodny? Snow langres is gone too as far as I can tell. (For some reason?) They added a lot of depth to the game, and allowed for a change of tactics for both aggressors and defenders. It'd be nice if more maps featured them, particularly in1v1. I realize people dislike them for that very reason, but I really enjoyed them. In: COH2 Gameplay
