i think commanders should be reworked yeah but the way i think is that every ability slot should have more bonuses, like 2 passives bonus or 1 active 1 passive bonus for every slot, and with really fun things
for example: the first ability of the ostruppen commander should have an active component(call in ostruppen) and a passive one(allows the construction of trenches) and you give more funny stuff to that commander by using the old trench slot
you also change the names and icons to something more abstract.
Ability slots that only allows you to build certain unit should not exist, this game should not be that simple but more complex |

please relic allow this, a 1 commander only veto for 1v1 automatch, like the maps, during this new patch and in the future this will prevent a hypothetical overpowered commander from being spammed in all the games and stop people from leaving the game in frustration, your elite commander will never be accepted in any serious tournament anyways, so why not add this feature? people who bought that commander have to get used to the idea that all the community is refusing to play with them if he uses that commander or they can go play 4v4 and use it there, they cannot complain, a 1 commander veto will hurt nobody. |
theres some more reasons why this doctrine cant be balanced and only breaks the game: if you delay your commander pick in the game or hide it(only randomly and discretly vetting up your troops) your opponent will never know the tiger ace is coming, less than 3 su85 or less than 4 zis by the 7cp mark,only means instant GG for him.
the fact that this commander allows you to invest all your income on infantry, therefore forcing your opponent to react with anti infantry units by using all his income, to not be overwhelmed(lets remember this is a "competitive" game and you have to fight your opponent with an army of the same value), and then it gives you,a FREE ARMOURED INVINCIBLE UNIT when your enemy is completely unprepared for even a panther, makes this commander completely broken beyond nerfs |
you guys, tiger ace is your last chance, for example. you have 7 CP enemy and you annihilated each other. Enemy left 4-5 units, you had nothing. Then comes the final boss.
wow, people actually like this silly idea of the tiger ace. A free call in, of a super tiger, but people like it, they think "makes sense"

If you played COH you would know that before the game was "stale", as you understand it, it was almost unplayable because Relic refused for the longest time to do anything about Kangaroos being into your base by 7 minutes and then crushing your troops over and over again. Before that, trenches and gliders crushed all your people. The PE infantry spam and ACs were ridiculous. ToV represents this shift where relic nose dived from legendary to comically insane.
VCoH and CoH+TOV were done by separate teams if I remember correctly. The TOV expansion caused ridiculous problems to the game essentially ruining a perfect rts and running off over 3/4s of the initial community.
Guess who is in charge of this game? The track record simply isn't there. Nothing that they have said or done in this game thus far has been anything to the contrary of a big fucking letdown and this is about to make it even worse.

vp freeze because it doesnt stop income, so it can be easily a insta-win button if you take all the map for 4min |
a wierd bug happened, center star on city 17 , my 2 is-2 walked across the star and they say "enemy is-2 ..." i dont know what more they said, but they started attacking one spot on the ground, i had to move them from that place |
ok i propose any of these changes for this gamebreaking unit
fix 1:
-calls in tiger ace
-cost: 800mp 300 fuel
-freezes victory points 4 minutes
-during the vp freeze the tiger tank is a "tiger ace" ,after the duration, Michael Wittmann (obviously the tank commander inside the tiger ace) has to leave the battlefield urgently to meet with the fuhrer and the tiger ace becomes a normal vet 0 tiger.
fix 2:
-calls in tiger ace for only 4 minutes
-cost: nothing
-freezes victory points
-after the duration, the tiger ace is reassigned to the western front and leaves the battlefield =(
with these changes the ability stays "cool" and "epic" exactly what the kiddies wanted but to longer breaks the game so much |
