No, but seriously, it is everything u would want in a tank.
1. Rapes infantry, doesnt even need to shoot at them, just runs them over.
2. Very mobile
3. Not too shabby vs p4's when in numbers, not to mention things like target fire.
4. If the tank it is facing is too powerful for it to take on RAM!
5. Can capture points.
All this for a measly 85 fuel. |
I find the stug to actually be quite good, as long as it doesn't get flanked. The HE round is great for stopping T34's. |
FHT got nerfed so why not nerf the T70. |

Its precisely the crits which is the problem. If a flame crits against ostheer, it does alot more damage than a flame crit against soviet.
As previously said, the balance issue is crits, due to smaller squad sizes for ostheer. I have had a 4 man squad wiped in 1 sec to a molotov due to 4 crits at the same time, a well spent 15 munitions. |
@OZ, your post makes alot of sense, have you played alot of germans?
If so then you would know that the T70 can be absolutely devastating in the hands of a good player.
I don't really mind what changes are made, i just want to see less units that can wipe whole squads on all factions. |
Im not sure what game your playing. Btw these are proposed changes that have not yet been made.
T34's nearly always take 1-2 models of any inf sometimes 3, also it has a great ability to run over infantry very easily.
By the time a german player fields a p4 its very easy to field 2 T34's if the game has been even. |
and the AI of t34 is very weak
A t34 vs p4 fight is not in anyway even at this moment. it's a decisive win for the p4

A T34 costs 85 fuel.......and less manpower, you want it to go toe to toe with a p4?

T3 is a big risk? I would say most my losses are due to T3.
It can be built more often than not before the German T3.
It has these incredibly effective yet cheap tanks (T70, T34)
Even on a level or slightly disadvantaged game the T34 can come out the same time as a Ostwind making the Ostwind redundant.
However, if the Soviets have had a small fuel advantage than a T70 can appear without any worries of a HARD counter. The window it has is more than enough time to make nearly all German units retreat giving soviets map dominance. This fact i can live with.
The problem is when the units retreat, they get wiped by the T70, leaving the German with no map presence and no units.
Soviet Industry has just amplified this.
EDIT: IM GETTING TIRED OF T34 SPAM even without soviet industry, soviets manage to pull these tanks out their ass even without the fuel points.

The soviet tanks, as it stands, are total infantry killers. This change will help preserve infantry (support units) and will stop the shock factor that t70's t34's have. The soviets will not be able to call in one unit and gain map dominance.
Strategy will be needed for once.
The FHT has been nerfed as well, we just need some fixes on top of this to stop the script/gren spam and we might have a decent game appearing.
The Tiger Ace should maybe have a requirement like T4 building must be produced therefore making it harder to be deployed. |
