GG WP to my opponent.
I had been outplayed at some points of the game but lack of any hard-counter to kill snipers sealed my fate. Light vehicles could do the trick but against a good player (as shown in the replay) they cannot kill snipers, and those guys just worsen the USF's MP drain.
Hidden Pathfinders/better arty usage could have worked, but only with some luck.
This problem applies to the OKW, the lack of effective sniper counters must be fixed. I'm not calling them overpowered or anything, just the WFA doesn't have the necessary tools to hunt them down.
Any advice is welcomed.
From a wehr point of view because I suck at playing USA:
1. Never go Captain against Wehr, M15 and M20 are a million times better than the lousy half-AT Stuart and Lieutenant is a much stronger combat unit than Captain and comes on field much faster. M20 in particular can always hit the field before T2 is up and thus has free reign to bleed a couple of models from grens as even double faust will not kill it as long as you upgrade skirts.
2. Always upgrade sweepers against Wehr as more or less the first thing in the game, don't lose your manpower expensive vehicles to tellers. You have no real other use for munitions because all munition abilities for US largely suck and rear echelon can't beat anything with or without sweepers so you're losing no combat power either.
3. Don't get Mortar HT, it fires slow and never hits anything. If you do get one despite this, just spam the white phosphor rounds on cooldown, because they're literally the only thing the unit has going for it
4. Don't get Priest either, too expensive for no performance. Get M8A1s or shermans instead.
