You must be really bad at micro then. If you look to your bottom-right panel in game, you'll notice an array of commands from stop to CREW SHOCK. Use this in conjunction with anything else you have in the area, flank with stuart and destroy
Yes, everyone except you is so bad at micro at this game. I'm sure you will be #1 USF player in no time with your amazing stuart micro.
Allied munitions are OP because they stockpile munitions due to having so many OP abilities to choose from, they just can't decide what to spend them on.
No, 80% muni is perfectly fine. You can add 15 muni or something to their starting resources so you can get the first mines or schrek slightly faster, but the faction was broken as fuck with 100% income (and still is, but it was still a step in the right direction).
We're certainly working on ways of opening things up more, specifically around the balance changes.
Things tend to move slowly at times in game development and we're working to try not to "soon" you all to death.
Yes, I'm sure that NDA on simple balance changes is completely out of your hands. Much open, so balance.
Things may "move slowly at times in game development", but we're saying you are prioritizing things horribly. There are several utterly gamebreaking bugs, introduced in WFA and the patches following it, which went unfixed in all your hotfixes. Now we are apparently stuck with these issues until your "dedicated multiplayer team" comes back from working on AA.
@Cruzz
"JohnnyB
I would exchange lmg grenadiers on bar equiped rifles any day."
And why is that so odd may I ask?
Maybe because a single LMG42 is way better than a BAR, on more open maps clearly stronger than double BARs, and the higher veterancy bonuses on grens adds icing to the (lol)cake on top? Not that I have to tell you this with your vast USF experience.
WUUUUT? But...but... USF is a so UP faction.... USF is so weak... Axis is dominating the game. How come?! Oh, wait. I remember now. My friend reached place 100 on random 2v2 with soviets and he barely plays... 2, maybe 3 times a week. At that time, Axis was, of course, OP. As always.
Wow, much OP, so unbalance. Just like the reason I got to #1 USF 2vs2 in 11 games right around the great kubelcalypse was because the faction was batshit OP, not because
Going to punish mediums more than heavies, because they take the same amount of health damage from every shot with (close to) 0% chance of mitigating damage.
You can easily increase repair requirements on heavy vehicles by increasing their health and giving them a received damage increase to balance that out, this will increase repair time on them while affecting absolutely nothing else.
If you think a King Tiger should be easily taken out by a bazooka blob than I'm glad that I don't share the vision of your game, where infantry blobs can take out any super unit.
IS2 & Tiger 1 have equal times, so again I don't see the problem here.
Yes, I'd love this to be a game where having anti-tank infantry in the rear of your tanks actually meant something instead of the current situation where the turret will leisurely turn around and kill off all the pesky little insects while you barely take any damage.
You apparently look at the IS2 vs Tiger numbers and think this means zooka is super great. I look at it and think "I had to buy research for this, pay more munitions for it, lose far more anti-infantry DPS for it (unless you are buying extra rear echelons and putting zookas on those, about the only squad in the game they're reasonable on), lose my chances of picking up new weapons, wasted time picking it up at base, fought a unit with weaker armor, in the most favorable conditions for the zooka you can think of, and STILL KILLED SLOWER THAN SCHREKS.
If you buff bazookas to panzerschreck level I guarantee you will see every squad equpped with a m1919 + bazooka. Armour is not needed anymore and your enemy won't produce it anymore. Welcome to a boring new meta.
Relic changed the ability for panzergrens to have only one Panzerschreck for a reason, people were just blobbing panzergrens and annihilating infantry and tanks likewise.
Since you can equip every squad with bazookas, the same will happen.
Good thing riflemen are about as scary as rear echelons in the endgame.
If you buff bazookas you will have beta pzgrens running around since you can equip any squad with it.
Bazookas are fine imo, what people seem to forget is that they have a higher rate of fire compared with shrecks, when going for rear Armour they can damage most tanks.
"Fine", if by fine you mean you have to be insane to buy a single one.
Trivia question: how long does it take for 4 zookas to kill a KT while sitting immediately behind it, assuming they are not getting shot?
Trivia question two: how long does it take 3 shreks to kill an IS2 from the rear?
USF infantry give up more to get zookas (time required to get them, tech cost, munition cost) yet fight stronger vehicles so even in the most optimal situations (point blank on rear armor which mostly skips the accuracy and penetration issues zookas have) they don't perform on the level of schreks, nevermind if you can't get rear armor shots or have to fire from far away.
.50 cal has lower suppression than maxim at max range. .50 cal also has lower damage than maxim at max range. .50 cal has higher aoe suppresion than maxim, but slightly weaker than MG42. .50 cal has very good scaling of both damage and suppression as you get closer to your target, but because it has the weakest HMG crew in the game by a huge margin, taking advantage of that is practically impossible.
Strikes me, that in the question "Is unit X overpowered", a good rule of thumb as to a yes or no answer is as follows.
"Would you care if the enemy had access to that unit"
Is conscript merge OP? I mean if OKW had it, and then merged into obers or falls...holy god, merge is batshit OP, nerf at once!
