IMO maxims and MG42s are in a good spot this patch. |

Just so everyone knows, neither Barton nor Batex have any affiliation with RNG. I don't know why they have decided to use the tag of an already established clan, but its kinda weird... |
I think the reasoning is that they want the game to be a historical representation of what actually happened. CoH isn't meant to be a fictional depiction of WW2. Games like CnC fit the bill for this well because the events they portray never actually happened. I don't know if it would fit the franchise well. Hell, people already freak out that the multiplayer units are not representative of their historical counter parts, I can't imagine the uproar there would be if the campaign had an "alternate ending". No offense, but I would have no interest in playing through a fictional WW2 campaign. |
I confirmed this today. The fact is, most people dont bother putting them forward on a fuel or muni point because it is dangerous. Placing it on a fuel point gives +7 fuel, and muni point gives you +11
I'll try it later and post a video to confirm unless someone else beats me to the punch. |
thnx Aerohank
and to kati you condescending prick : suck it
Katikof, meet Crash, Crash....Katikof |
The Opel gives only fuel on fuel points, and only muni on muni points. It gives both on standard points. Caches have no effect on it.
I don't think this is true, I was under the impression that it gave the same resources regardless of the sector, therefore it is always best to hide it near your closest base sector, preferably out of los. |
This patch? Anything with a Tiger tbh. Sad but true, teching just isn't worth it. My favorite commander this patch is the ass gren commander. Having an anti-inf armor unit at 6 cps, even if its really squishy, is excellent, especially when its followed up with a tiger.
I also like any doctrine w/ spotting scopes, or the command tank. |

Hello and welcome! |
1. it's bonus is static now.
it gives trickle of muni and fuel in normal point.
it gives you more trickle in fuel and muni point but only the
corresponding resource (7 fuel and muni)
2. when it's on cached point, it gives the resource corresponding to
the cache (dont know the exact amount)
it's a fuel and ammo cache rolled into one (+5 ammo and +3 fuel) for what would cost 400 manpower costs 300 manpower.
Same where ever you park it.
stacks with caches built on the point.
This info contradicts each other, can someone clarify? I tend to trust ipkai on this one (no offense pig) but if someone can definitively say one way or another that'd be cool. |
I don't have a problem pre-ordering from developers that have treated me well in the past. I'd rather save myself the hassle of buying it on release day and just being able to jump into the action immediately.
With that said, there are a few developers/publishers that I will not pre-order from anymore. The biggest offender is easily EA. BF4 really let me and everyone else who plays on a PC down. That is the true definition of a poor release. CoH2 was *nowhere* near as bad as BF4 was when it was released.
All I'm saying is that we should cut Relic some slack when it comes to balance issues. Such issues are present in every multiplayer game out there, and they are even more apparent in games with a lot of different units/classes/factions/etc. WFA will almost certainly have a negative effect on balance, regardless of how much testing is done. I'm willing to tolerate that for more content at a fair price. To me, that is reasonable.
Well said, I think this thought needs to be reiterated as much as possible in the coming weeks. We need more thought out, reasonable posts like yours. |
