It seems clear that Relic isn't listening to us. The final method we have at our disposal against War Spoils is to farm games with actual people in it. When people can't play without someone in the game being AFK, Relic will be forced by the good-natured gamers to amend the War Spoils system.
Just join any game at all and go AFK. Preferably team games though but you could annoy some 1v1 automatch opponents with being AFK

Relic will only be stopped when players refuse to play (and thus buy games and support their livelihood)
This post is a joke. Why punish people who actually want to play the game when you could accomplish the same thing by farming bots... This is a fucking terrible solution, relic is aware of the issues and has stated that they are working on a solution. We would all like to see immediate results but the reality is these changes will take time. |
If I had a priority list it would look something like this:
1. Fix the horrible game freezes that many people are experiencing. This doesn't need an explanation. It's really bad for a lot of people. Completely game breaking in many cases.
2. Fix warspoils. Either introduce a currency system that allows people to buy what they want (IE what they don't already own) or the more probable half assed solution, implementing a trading system.
3. Observer mode
4. In game ladder rankings, and a badge that displays roughly your ELO during the loading, and post game screens.
5. An overhaul of the vanilla COH2 commanders. Too much ability overlap and overall boring and uninspired commanders here. WFA commanders are a giant step in the right direction, and I would love to see Relic make the COH2 the total package. Keep the momentum going and fix the obviously terrible commander design of the ost and soviets.
6. As was mentioned before, hotkey remapping. I use auto hot key but honestly the default hotkeys are terrible. If custom hotkeys are for some reason not feasible, at least give people a set of hotkeys that allows them to control the camera with wasd and remap the current "wasd" abilities to other hotkeys for these. |

I did a test w/ only the single 7% and the double (supposed) 14% and they were the same, maybe my eyes deceived me, but I'd like to see a picture of the squad in the same spot with the 7% circle.

I have had this problem for a while now. Before it used to freeze about every 10 seconds, and was basically unplayable. I had this issue when I was alt-tabbed while loading. Now I don't have a problem with alt tabbing, but I'm having more and more issues that everyone else is having with game freezes. About 3-4 times a game the screen will freeze for ~7 seconds, followed by a fast forward. Sometimes it happens at really, really inopportune times. Also, units are at times ignoring my retreat commands, not sure if this is an AHK issue, but its costing me games. |

One thing to keep in mind when using assault grens is that they are very expensive to reinforce. They are not meant to be a mainline infantry unit. I would never build more than 1. The key to using them it to use their sprint ability to put yourself in good situations. With this ability you can close distance very quickly and use it tactically to either force a squad out of cover, or retreat at the risk of taking heavy losses. The rest of the commander is great against americans though.
The stug E shreds rifles, and can handle the AA halftrack easily. On top of that you get a reliable off map arty strike, and the fearsome tiger. Its a strong commander overall, you just have to avoid spamming assault grens. |
