I really like a lot of the ideas here, especially the aspects regarding the soviet tech restructure. I also love that partisans are getting a little love, as I think it's a cool play style for the faction. ISU and Jagd could get nerfed into oblivion for all I care.
However, I do think it's a little silly that when Relic releases patch notes they are damned before even going live and getting a chance to play it, and when Cruzz does the same everyone praises it like it's gospel. I guess it's understandable that a clean slate and wide eyed optimism are much preferred over the track record of Relics patches.
Well then, it's been a while! It took us 2 weeks to find a replay to cast due to all of the patches, another week to actually schedule a time to get it done, and then another week and a half to actually get it uploaded after some technical difficulties. I was starting to wonder if I the cast actually existed or if I had just dreamt it!
We did this cast less than 24 hours before OBS mode was released, so you'll have to suffer through the old replay UI for just a few more casts, but I promise we have some OBS casts in the works.
This time we've got Sheepeh making his return to the RNG Arena!
If you have a replay you'd like us to cast drop by our forums or send me a PM and we'll give it a look!
BOOOOO Jagd and ISU changes reverted make this patch much, much less appealing. While I understand that the beta adjustments were not a good solution, I would rather have those two units rot in futility until a reasonable fix arrives than have them dominate the meta for another month. They completely shut down creative play and the impact they have on the 2v2 scene is so over the top and boring....PLEASE FIX THESE UNITS SOON!
Gamespot has editors.
Computerheat is an editor.
Editors hide the truth from the people.
Computerheat is blue. Relic is yellow.
Blue + Yellow = Green.
Illuminati is green.
Computerheat and Relic is confirmed illuminati.
I know this is sad for everyone but it is the truth. It is only through revealing this that I can make the community toxic free again. Plz have faith in StephennJF, the true RNGod and bringer of MLG euphoria.
PS. Nice signature VonIvan. I still can't stop laughing for the Relic creating/releasing patch part
Given the relative size of a raketenwerfer to other AT guns it would make a lot of sense if it were simply much more responsive. I'd consider it the maxim of the AT world then. It has a limited arc and is very easily decrewed, justifying its immediate availability, but it should ideally respond very well to micro.
As it stands, panzerschreks and pumas are the only realistic AT meta, but both are time-consuming to obtain. (I had never really considered mines before, due to the pressing need to save up for schreks).
My sentiments exactly. Also, if the raketen was a little more reliable OKW players would potentially be less reliant on shrecks and would further open up potential options for the faction such as more nades, mines, or other upgrades. The game always feels more fun and rewarding with options, and ATM the shreck is so much of a crutch it feels like a boring, necessary munitions burden.
No, I didn't say it's bad AT. Where did I write that? I said it's not extremely good AT. It's an ok unit, that helps you resist against medium armor, but that's all. I use it often, my build with OKW involves T3 first (the Puma building), and i have 4 bulletins related to it (3 related to penetration and one related to reload). I can say that they are relevant only if you stack 2 penetration bulletins at least. Then Puma begins to overpass its "ok" status and becomes somewhat "good".
