I have just watched the game and I absolutely stand behind what I initially said.
I do agree that you were better in this game and I especially liked the fuel harassment. However, you need to keep in mind that Germans do not need as much territory as Russians do to roll out medium armor. You also had a good idea about his MG positioning, but I cant help to wonder why you weren't more aggressive during flanking. Had you been so, you could have probably taken out his mg earlier. The ZIS barrage usage was also solid.
Now let me tell you why I think you lost this game:
You had tons of fuel due to really good flank harassment and pure territory control but I feel that you made a mistake by going T4. As I mentioned earlier, T34s are crucial against Elite Doctrine. At the first site of a vet 3 MG42 you should have made the decision to go T3. You had 3 or 4 SU-85s totaling 1280 MP and 460 fuel (each SU is 320 MP and 115 fuel). For that amount of resource you could have gotten (almost) 5 T34s. Even with RNG gods not on your side, with 5 (reasonable) ram attempts you would have had plenty of opportunity to knock the Yolo out with a heavy crit.
As far as your SU-85 usage is concerned, that is something you need to practice a bit. SU 85 should be treated as a anti tank support unit, which means that under no circumstances should it be on the front lines fighting infantry. SU 85 should not rush to defend flanks against infantry either or chase vehicles. In this particular case your first SU got a heavy crit from a force that was on the retreat and it was easily picked off by an advancing pak. Your second SU-85 died from friendly fire. You spent 200 munis on a bomb strike to knock out already low health vet 2 P4. You had that P4 beat. Waste of bombing run, waste of SU85. Third and fourth SU85s were picked off by the yolo.
Probably the biggest reason why you lost this game is the fact that you didn't lay a single mine. At the peek of your game (right before you knocked out your own SU85) you had 300 munis. Throughout the game you had 100 munis on average banked at all times. You were in a good position to mine all of the approaches to your base as well as few sectors around his base. Taking out a Tiger with a heavy mine crit is trivial with SU85's forward focus ability (not to mention it becomes a sitting duck for a nice T34 ram).
Please don't take this analysis the wrong way. It is not my intention to be condescending but to give a fair assessment of the situation. This post is also not about me nor am I trying to be a smart ass. I am just an average player who enjoys the game. I hope you find the analysis beneficial.
