As for the patch: --OKW KT armor same as IS2 yet IS2 cost wayyyy less and comes earlier. What great balance we have here! --OST Tiger/Panther speed nerf = more T34 blob swarms becoming a thing, plus loads of other blatant issues. --OST Panzerwerfer needs to be dropped a tech level and CHEAPER. Please god. Address this issue. --OST MG42 needs to suppress faster. The enemy should be forced to smoke or flank but being able to run straight up frontally and grenade...this needs to not even be possible. Spotter or NOT. --Jackson buff (it's a buff)... here's the thing: you almost never encounter just one Jackson, they're always in pairs. JACKSON is BUFF. Thread: OST Panzerwerfer: Truly Underpowered26 Mar 2015, 20:30 PM Very good arguments have already been made, so I wont repeat them and will just add my voice in support: The Panzerwerfer is underpowered by every objective measure. It also should never have been moved from T2. Relic moved it to T3 for the most arbitrary of reasons in the first place, because building 4 would then have only 2 vehicles. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: American Bunker spam -- how to deal25 Mar 2015, 17:22 PM Replay's aren't helpful. Hindsight is 20/20 especially when you can see through fog of war--anyone's replay can be nitpicked apart. The point is this: A bunker that can both suppress and throw grenades, builds fast, appears at the start of the game and is spammable... is a little BS. They're effective on any map size but smaller maps it causes issues. In: Strategy Desk

These things are littered everywhere from the first moments a round begins onward... to top it off they seem to have 360 degree coverage unlike German bunkers. One US bunker on a point will lock it down until its removed. And there's no reliable way to deal with them until vehicles (mid game). On large 4v4 maps US bunkers are less of a problem because the maps are so large they can be bypassed or isolated (harder for US to support), but 2v2 maps they are OP at times. -As OKW I've tried using the rocketwerfer AT gun supported by infantry but I've yet had any success. Bunker is always supported with infantry and force a retreat every time. -By the time you get a vehicle, they will have locked most of the map down and have a Sherman, it's too late, so GG. -As OST a pak could do it but often you have the same problem, you have larger chance of losing pak usually even if supported. -Mortar is an option but they have to be close to be accurate and take a really long time to take it down. "They aren't terminators" No. But they cost Terminator prices for weak performance "They get better with vet" I've never understood the "get better with vet" argument for any unit but especially here because these are far too non-survivable to reliably vet in the first place. The most interesting thing these troops have going for them is popping out of any structure on the map. This sounds useful in theory but isn't at all in practice. In reality it almost never makes a difference. They have no staying power on the field for one, none. And by the time to use them you had better hope there are no tanks or vehicles for you to run into (you will). And when eventually retreated, they often run through the front lines and get wasted on retreat. I want these units to be useful really badly. They just aren't. In: OKW Strategies

Thread: Current anti-hack?25 Mar 2015, 14:09 PM No replay because I quit the match. I guess you can just assume, 'it didn't happen then'. I wont loose sleep over it. Anyway, good to know about the sturm officer. But there was no propaganda arty, this was in the first 5-6 min of the game. And then there's the instant full man squad wipes (not from grenades). Whole match was strange from the beginning. You play enough of any game and you can detect when something's off. Teammates independently came to the same conclusion before I even said anything, which was telling I thought. In: Lobby
Thread: Current anti-hack?25 Mar 2015, 13:58 PM Just quit a game where hacking/scripts were obvious within the first opening moments of the match: First encounter with the enemy our units were being 'retreated' when no command was given. This was repeatedly happening (in the first 5 min). When they 'allowed' us to fight, a squad would be completely wiped in an instant--it was happening so fast I couldn't exactly see how they were being wiped but the best of my understanding of what was happening: some sort of accuracy-auto-aim going on where one full-health squad would be killed from one volly of 1-2 conscript squads. Literally one volly. Those are just the two hacks I noticed. I'm certain they were using ESP too, and who knows what else. Hacks are in every game, coh2 is no different. I know that. I guess I'm wondering if there's any anti-hack at all and how robust is it? And is it being actively updated? Considering the slow patch cycle and general lack of support from RELIC... after what I just experienced it might be gg. OMG just forget it.... In: Lobby
Thread: Unit guide for Fallschirmjagers25 Mar 2015, 04:30 AM Fallschirmjagers, for what they offer, are much too expensive. They get eviscerated in a blink. Survivability must be lowest of any other unit in the game. Also, their DPS feels underwhelming. You cant go toe-to-toe with any other unit in the game. They are never a wise choice. My experience.
