Thread: Langres Mayhem26 Apr 2014, 22:06 PM Usually i'd go shocks instead of Guards and T3+IS2, but was feeling innovative this game. Probably tried one thing too many. If anyone is wondering btw, the logic behind two Guards despite seeing no tanks was because I wanted to see how they fared instead of shock troops as elite troops in this patch, as with the upgrade, they do some nice anti infantry from afar, like LMG grens, except they got button and light AT which is always handy! T3 and shocks suit my aggressive style much better, but was interesting none the less. gg, wp! (Ps. Thread: Ambush Camo Bug (Ostheer)25 Apr 2014, 23:17 PM Hi, Encountered this one once or twice, sometimes (but not always) a grenadier squad after using this ability as intended, can then move cloaked outside of cover as long as they do not fire I believe. Uploaded a replay to "my files" on coh2.org, which you can access by clicking on my username. File is entitled, "gren camo bug". Thread: April 24th Patch Notes Discussion 24 Apr 2014, 15:07 PM Perhaps in the beta, after the changes to grens and scout cars, Pgrens came more prominent and warranted a wee nerf. Not in the beta myself, but otherwise, I don't think many were complaining about them. To be fair, if they were in medium to close range they were a pretty efficient unit for cost I believe, as the original cost they had accounted for the fact that SMG troops get roughed up closing the distance. Would have preferred a cost increase myself rather then stats change. Also, i'd love to see the option of a single shrek upgrade in the future for Pgrens, perhaps an option of a 120 muni cost for 2 shreks, or a 70 muni cost for a single one (means more bang for buck if you get the two shreks, but you are paying the opportunity cost.) Aside from PGrens, I feel soviets should be even better on the urban maps now, which I hope is closely monitored by the balance team, as my initial gut feeling is, maps like Semosiy with plentiful shot blockers, cover and buildings will be tipped in soviet favor. Thread: April 24th Patch Notes Discussion 23 Apr 2014, 20:35 PM Can't really comment on the tank changes, seems like a big shift that will need some playing around with. Regarding infantry, I like them for the most part. PGrens nerf i'm hesitant about, they felt pretty right to me as they are, aside from that its a pity assault grens did not get some love, they are fairly ineffective currently and not efficient in comparison to normal grens. In regards to call ins and infantry, i'd really like for the mechanised gren call in to come with G43's now instead of an LMG, makes much more sense with the change to those weapons. I think the pgren and gren mechanised call in's could be cheaper, costs allot of fuel for what your getting. Nice to see a buff to the HMG's, felt the MG42 in particular needed a wee buff after the changes last patch. Not sure about the artillery changes, always felt the howitzers are risky to go for in 1v1's for the cost. Love the hold fire ability on the Pak 43, now give it to normal AT guns please! :-) In: COH2 Gameplay

Enjoyable game as it threw a few challenges that was not gren spam, which I appreciated.
