Behold another one of the true flamers in the CoH2 community who probably cry to relic saying the axis factions are OP. |
USF noob calls me a lucky noob for stealing his WC51 Military Truck w. .50 cal HMG and drops the game. |
Me going heavy T1 w/ Ostheer in the order of gren, gren,mg,mg,sniper, mortar on crossing in the woods and than skipping T2 to T3 to spam panzer 4's w/ the support of the Luftwaffe supply doctrine. my Opponent on the other hand went with a build order of either 3 or 2 con squads w/ 1 maxim and in the north fuel i flanked and killed his maxim and used it as my own for the rest of the match. my opponent in the mid-game decided to spam mortars which was in no way a counter to my panzer 4 spam in the mid/late game and i also nailed the coffin by destroying his T4 structure so he wouldn't be able to counter my Panzer 4's. please honor and give feed back of what you though and TY. |
me utilizing aggressive tactics as the Ostheer and also utilizing the environment like cover/structures and locking down the map w/ a risky build order but successful in the end game. The build order I used was heavy T1 going in the order of gren,mg,gren,mg,sniper, mortar and skiping T2 to T3 to produce pz4's. |
Negative on that. Grenadier damage output is very good, but usually they don't last very long. At least that's what I think, I don't like going for more than two Grens against double USF.
Yea I agree due to my experience seeing my grens turned to shreds of meat cause with grens you have to either be in green cover or have superb micro and mg firing lines to halt their advance but its depends on the situation too and usually rushing for an ostwind is best except for fuel unless you skip the Leichte Mechanized Kompanie(tier2) and upgrade to tier 3 to build the Support Armor Korps structur and save for Ostwind though you would have to hold out the enemie until you can do this but it has worked for me.

A well played game of me making a comeback on a near defeat. |
This is an example of bad tactics from the allied player. |
You may ask!
... But I can't answer. I've never owned Elite Troops and I have no experience playing as them.
I dun' even know how much the stun grenade costs!
The stun grenade cost 20 munitions so you could probably spam it but since I'm not good at utilizing the timing of my grenade throwing techniques its something that has to be tested by some1 w/ those kind of skills. |
First order of business would have to be adequate placement of MGs.
yea I don't place hmg's in structures anymore unless i really have to but even adequate placement of MGs is sometimes not as sufficient but better than a structure usually. |
You don't have a chance which you can thank Relic for because this is how I used to be successful until the last 2 matches i had today vs US forces as wehrmact.
my build order started w/ a pio,mg,gren,mg or pio,mg,mg,gren since grens have no use against us forces except for fausting light/heavy vehicles and teching to T2 i get the scout car to chase off infantry since u have to upgrade to T3 at hq to have flame HT which you could do cause i stop at T3 and spam panzer vi's
below are the issues w/ wehrmact units i've been having vs US the last 2 matches
1. MG42's by my experience are the only unit capable of halting all US forces infantry take forever to start firing even when not in structures and don't suppress for shit which in return get outflanked
2. I only build 1 gren and or assault gren because both are like butter getting pierced with a knife w/ US infantry representing the knife
3. things I have noticed in early game is that i cant even get out 2 or 3 of my squads on the field before they completely overwhelm the map which is BS cause i have to go through the effort of constructing a infantrie kompanie and getting a pio to support my other pio w/ map control which still seems to not help but im gonna try a strat w/out building second pio to have more fighting units even though i'll lose map control.
