Probably not a good idea to get 5 jacksons on semoisky but they still shouldnt get stuck on wrecks.

after playing with SOMEONE who got 3 jacksons on top of my 2 on semoisky summer I can safely say the jacksons biggest downfall is the ability to get stuck on wrecks

Then weapons that are able to burst change it all up, not exactly sure how but if you just look at the differences between all wepaons it should get clear

There are a lot of mg34s, are you usre you're looking at the right one on the stats and in the files? lmg34, hmg34, kubel, hull mg34, coaxial mg34

This shouild not happen if you are only changing hp and armor values, you most likely changed somethign else
Ever wondered why the pack howitzer would sometimes turn into a vehicle driving around or when your flak HT refused to fire after some time?
Well since I've been using the Flak HT a lot now I noticed it refusing to shoot after it hit vet 2 and got abandoned earlier on in the game. Since i made that vet guide earlier on I noticed it affected all units that get new weapons.
It has to do with some units getting different weapons instead of getting modifiers the way units normally get vet bonuses. Think of stuff like faster setup or better AA capabilities like the ostwind. If your unit changes weapons and then gets abandoned it will be unable to fire when it hits the same vet level after being recrewed.
I tested these units
-Flak HT
-Pack Howitzer
-Ostwind
But I think the luchs and usf atgun also get new weapons with veterancy.
Fix
I tried some stuff myself with adding some requirement actions and some actions that run when theh unit dies but its mostly a hack job adn didnt work
We had plently of balance issues before wfa.
I think relic's refusal to never change designs of units is the root of all problems.
2 men snipers, soviet tech structure etc
Luckily they did change 100 range vehicles and lets hope the call in change gets through soon
Well, you're not supposed to use the jackson in close range against panthers. You need to use the 10 extra range to harass and force it away.
They are also not the same price at all
470/175 vs 340(?)/125
Jacksons are in my opinion perfectly balanced for its design. With micro the only threat is volks blobs. They utterly suck on small maps like trois point and semoisky though
