^^^ exactly. It's really easy to beat. Once engine is damaged it's ridiculously useless and just eats German resources.
I got the tiger ace 3x, and 3x it was successfully rammed on first try. Then u can just mortar the area or hit it with su85 or use ur soviet army to grind down German army. It really isn't hard to beat. |
What? I thought a is2 can do damn well against our micheal Hartmann ace. I just had a game where my tiger ace was pretty badly bruised by a is2. Granted he had good position on me but when I did get into a better firing position his armor actually deflected a shot or two. I actually pulled back which in turn stalled my advance which ultimately led to my defeat. |
I miss craters!! Totally changed the battlefield. Remember what Semois would look like after a 1 hour long battle. The town was completely flattened and cratered.. In CoH2?... eh |
Man... With the new MP boost, the Sov industry, i cant do this anymore... Its so sad to see a good RTS turn to rubbish. This has been such a bad year for PC games.. The Rome Total War Debacle, COH2 and its laughable content, and various other games that havent really delivered besides xcom. Makes me soooo sad, i love my pc games, its a great hobby and keeps me out of trouble. Shit.. |
Yes I always imagined the beginning of the game as small skirmishes between scouting units. Trying to position themselves well before the main body arrived. Then it turning into an all out slugfest for some unknown town or road. But now it just seems with the mp bonus it is getting farther and farther away about what coh combat is about. I must digress however and wait until I try it. Hopefully it will just change the meta for the better. |
Wait why 500 mp!? What's the reasoning behind that? It's not like the community was vocal about a starting mp change. Aww Molotov bug was so fun lol.
What about buggy tank pathing!?! Oh and the semois tank pathing bug?? And cancel mine bug!? Arghhg!!!!!!! |
It gets very expensive vetting those tanks |
The commander really forces the player to gamble and make a deep strategic decision.
With the purchasable vet, your units are more expensive (the ones you vetted). So if you call in that tiger and start losing, uh oh... The tiger is much slower but does have increased sight. But worst thing about it, the Sovs still have RNG on their side, one AT nade or a well placed RAM and that tiger can cause hell for the German. The German will have to pour all its remaining resources trying to repair and get it to safety, most likely taking casualties they cannot replace. I personally think this thing is brilliant. Just comp stomped and used this unit, charged it into base, BAM AT naded on first try. I thought if i was playing a real player that would have been death. I bet this is going to make for some epic DO or DIE battles for Sovs and Germans. Sovs desperately trying to get rid of tiger, while Germans desperately trying to keep its elite units alive.
I'd only use it for closing honestly... |
I'm happy they didn't change blitz when engine damaged.. I think it's dumb to completely cancel out a vetted ability with at nades that are so easy to land. Especially now with the vet changes and distant increase with infantry at abilities. Remove blitz with engine destroyed only not engine damaged .
Changes look great can't wait to test them out |
Ah ok disregard. |
