Thread: SdKfz 221 vs M3A1 (weapon performance)26 Jun 2013, 21:39 PM ace, i totally agree with you here mate. i love the cheap cost of the AC and it's intended role. but i don't think the devs understand that it does 0 damage. the only reason i get it is to kill m3's and maybe stall a t-70 from pushing me off the map. now that is ok with upgrade. i think the upgrade making it a very light AT unit is called strategy. it's a tradeoff. but without the upgrade, it should be something that sov weapon teams have to react to when it gets outside their arc/area of fire In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Infantry Responsiveness26 Jun 2013, 21:22 PM i agree that this needs to be looked at. especially when any inf squad takes some sort of explosive damage (molotov, nade, tank round, etc) they all go prone and don't move for a couple of seconds. they'll do it even if only one guy gets barely hit in the squad. stuns are ok when put in as an actual mechanic (think stormtroopers in vcoh), not just there for every mortar round that keeps hitting my guys and forces me to retreat because they cant move out of the area In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Why with the new patch panther is a stug?16 Jun 2013, 02:09 AM i disagree. the stug is less powerful so it's not the only good t3 tank. now stug is t3 AT, ostwind is t3 anti inf, p4 is versatile. panther is no longer god unit, it requires you not to lose ur infantry or ur t3 units. if you use it as combined arms with the rest of ur army it is still great unit. it also costs less than b4. as a german player, i like the changes to both fractions In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Corp's Fast T2 Strategy/Discussion14 Jun 2013, 20:02 PM this is very different, but i like it because it reminds me of the PE builds in vcoh. 1v1 (as others have said) can be rough due to conscripts pushing map control, but this build is low fuel, high MP which isn't based on map control as much as rushing something like t3. 2v2 this build is amazing with a teammate going standard t1 into t3 In: Ostheer Strategies

Also - within the Doctrine you had to make strategic decisions on point allocation - do I go for a King Tiger or do I go for a Firestorm? If you can't see how the Doctrine system was such a structural foundation to your play style - then there's really nothing to discuss here - enjoy your Commander and your new gameplay, more power to you. i'll freely admit i was not a great vcoh player. the choice of point allocation in doctrines is replaced by the fact you can pick any 3 commanders with a loadout and bulletins. not sure if this particular idea is better or worse, just different.
