I think mg42s are ok and do what they're suppose to do its mainly an issue with usf lacking a viable strat besides rifle spam and shitty maps. Relic should fire the guy who thought the maxim was ok and shouldn't get an aoe buff, because it still sucks at countering blobs In: COH2 Balance |

Ever since march deployment infantry combat just became uninteresting and boring, just make as much lmgs as you can and a move, and nothing has changed since. There is no reason to not use lmgs ,they have absolutely no draw backs In: COH2 Balance |

Ost still has tellars and cheap stugs that should be backed up with paks. So an early sherman rush shouldn't be an issue and judging by the mg change it should be harder to put alot of pressure on wher defensive positions. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Its not so much that lmgs need a nerf its more of there counterparts are lack luster, i mean you rarely see thompson paras or g43 grens because its easier and more effective to use lmgs, and not to mention ppsh cons are just extinct. The infantry meta is stale and has been since the march deployment last year, spam as much lmgs as you can and stick to cover. In: COH2 Gameplay |

You read the title folks lmgs are to cost effective. They require no micro on the players part and you can a move any where and stomp any opposition.they are effective at all ranges and scale incredibly well, units like agrens and ppsh cons requires you to micro your units effectivly while your opponent just a move lmg grens or bar/.30 cal rifles at you. Buffing mgs so they can handle blobs better is a step in the right direction, but there needs to be a more profound disadvantage for choosing lmgs over rifles or more short range weapons.
