so is ostheer the problem or OKW? I still think all the problems people have with the axis stem from OKW. What you just described is an OKW unit that comes very early. Besides , since when did soviets rely on support weapons other than dshk?
What you have described here is a natural progression of the game stages. Compare that to playing soviets and before you get a tank all your support weapons get wiped by okw stuka xD imagine how salty would you be if that were the case

Similar to what everyone has already said, Lose one unit and it can be GG especially if it's your mg42 while they are pushing. I personally live by the half-track and get it 8/10 games I play and put scopes in itbas well. Keeps all your support weapons on the fight and can make for very passive aggressive ostheer play as you slowly move up the map with every engagement you win. Biggest problems ostheer faces: -One wrong move and your support weapons can all turn against you. -this problem is largely fixed by getting a p4 to defend vs flanks are more freely push up. However, once allied TDs hit the field your offenses with your tanks are halted. - problem two is fixed by supporting your p4 with aggressive pak play but is dependent on the map and leads to the third problem. Rocket artillery and indirect fire spam which destroys your support weapons and the back bone of your army. In: COH2 Balance |

Your answer to 4. Is the biggest problem ostheer has right now, especially in team games since Jackson can kite infantry units easily with its mobility. In addition, pgrens are squishy and lose to any infantry once upgraded. They just can't shoot more than once before having to retreat or get wiped, especially with all the rocket artillery and indirect fire flying around. So whats the top of the AT for ostheer? Whats ostheers answer to the jackson? The Firefly is already a problem for ostheer to deal with due to its high accuracy, range, and damage. However, it can be dived far more easily that the jackson because it has half (1.6 opposed to 3) the acceleration and -1.2 the top speed of the jackson making it hard to kite with. Brits also don't have rifles with snares preventing chases. THAT is why the firefly has the standard 640 HP. It also costs more and has a slower rotating turret.
a 15% top speed boost and 30% increased acceleration aren't what I'd consider "tremendous buffs to mobility. HVAP increases damage AND accuracy which offsets the survivability part o blitzkrieg. Also, since when did 600hp-200 dmg from a tiger/panther = 200hp? In: Lobby |

So what's the intended counter to the Jackson if I might ask? According to your previous posts it's not the stug, pIV, PV, JP4, or PVI. What is it? Or is the Jackson supposed to be top of the food chain for a lower price? Also, how does one shot from a panther or Tiger take it out of combat? Last I checked 600hp-200hp= 400hp not 0. Does the Jackson get a main gun disabled at 400hp or something? It also has 10/15 extra range than the tiger and panther while still being faster than both (except slightly slower max speed that panther) meaning it can kite. In: Lobby |

I thought these were good changes because it allowed the Jackson to be more easily countered by ostheer which has no 60 range TDs in addition to making it less frustrating to use since it got a health buff and more accuracy (aka less RNG deoendance). It made it more predictable In: Lobby |
