Thread: Better players vs Better tanks11 Jul 2014, 08:17 AM These guys seemed a lot better. More organized, 11 min and something Sherman. But... as OKW and WM - Hold out for some Tigers and perhaps steal a Sherman for good luck. At the end you'll be shocked by the outcome. I know I was. One guy should have just made some AT guns or stolen my pak but decided to blow it up instead. Turns out...maybe he should have stolen it instead. I thought this was going to be a loss for sure by the first few engagements and I did the unthinkable 2 snipers vs US. In: Replays

Thread: July 8th Patch Notes10 Jul 2014, 23:40 PM Yea, I'd rather rears build mines instead of having an ability that is junk. It's nearly useless now. If they keep volley fire they should have it pin the squad but the rear echelons won't hurt pinned squads. This way you need another unit to do the dmg. Or just scrap the whole darn idea of volley. Good job on that. Maybe he's on his way up the ladder. I've never used that doctrine commander so no idea if he was retreating units for fuel or not but that commander can do that. You just limit your capping power. But... with 7 tanks...do you really need capping power, lol. Had you stayed in the game he prolly would have based killed you eventually. He was at max pop. Thread: The luckiest M20 ever10 Jul 2014, 13:30 PM This unit ended up winning me the game. It helped take out a Panther. Lucky this guy wasn't too aggressive and he was focusing more so on the late win but I managed to conserve units. A few did die but we both had some vet going and when he quit he could have easily kept going and maybe even made a Sturm to deal with what I had. I did however have an AT gun, M10, and 105 Sherman and shreks. He mostly had Shreks, ubers and an AT gun himself but didn't seem too good at map control. His teching was probably the worst choice but we both seemed to go mass inf for whatever reason and I stole the ubers mg34 and boy was that fun. Note the M20 luring the Panther and the M10 slamming his rear end. Nice!!!!! In: Replays
Thread: How do I counter Sturm Tiger?10 Jul 2014, 13:26 PM Any unit that can 1 shot squads does suck. But hey. You gotta deal with it. The crazy thing is he was winning the battles but you still had map control when you quit. I'm sure that it would have just dragged out and you'd have lost anyways but had you hung back and maybe saved for 4 t34/85 you may have stood more of a chance. You were really aggressive. Thread: How do I counter Sturm Tiger?10 Jul 2014, 11:30 AM Yea, getting the Sturm isn't really that hard against soviets unless they are REALLY good at snipers or maxims. I usually expect early puma or Flak truck. If not...they will go JagDpanther...that's nasty just by itself. It's slow but properly defended....a nightmare. Often I find....not always the Sturm misses all together the intended targets and hit a tiny tree. It can often decimate it's own team by accident. Then it's a complete waste for a good 90 seconds is it? Perhaps go IS2 next time. ISU if you want to be brave and try to hold out. Chances are they will win by VP from elite infantry though. OKW can win on VP really fast. In: Replays
Thread: There is balance about it10 Jul 2014, 11:24 AM Dang...this reminds me of how I lost late game as well. Rifles late game vs WM are junk. Really do not like that a cheap stug III can decimate vet3 rifles like this. All they seem to need is some paks, pgs....and a stug III straight to Tiger. I'm not saying I could replicate the win...The Tiger almost died and that could have been GG right there but it wasn't. Paks practically 1 shot the M10 glass cannons. Kinda sickening actually.
