It has the same effective health as Panther. Lower health and damage reduction are there to make repairing it faster. Its all balanced if you actually understand what stats it has and why they are thee. I think by damage reduction he means the vet 1 "hull down" which is really quite bonkers. Tight rope did a test once where the hull down KV1 actually won against a Panther in close/mid range. When I use it i just use it as meat shield for su85's. In: COH2 Balance

Also: It's kind of a nitpick, but is there any chance of renaming Lightning War to something else? it's weird that we have a "Lightning War" and a "Blitzkrieg" doctrine. What are these commanders even called in the German translation? "Blitzkrieg" and "Blitzkrieg"? (I think there are other instances of this, too, but this is the one that sticks out to me) There is also Fortified Armor and Festung armor which also means the same. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Upcoming Comander Update - Wishes7 Mar 2021, 09:41 AM Jump back to quoted post7 Mar 2021, 07:03 AMMMX funny that you'd want to replace the one ability (m-42) that makes this commander a viable pick for me. defensive tactics is ideal for t1 openings since you get anything you'd want from t2, and in case of the dskh and hm-38, even in superior form compared to the stock options. without the baby at gun you'd be forced to back-tech for a zis rather sooner than later, so imho one of the other mediocre commander slots (tank traps and those ap-mines no one ever builds) would be a much better candidate for an ability swap. I say just make all support weapons buildable from the hq and bundle them in 1 ability/ or keep at gun at 1 and bundle the heavy support weapons in a single ability and make them deployable from HQ. Also KV-1 sounds nice. In: Lobby
