Thread: Need help: Soviet start up builds25 Feb 2014, 12:02 PM I like to get three conscripts and then build T1 or T2 (depends on the map, mostly). I immediately send my combat engineer to cap two or three points. On a map like Kholodny or Langreskaya, the engineers can cap a few points and be in position to build a forward tier building in your HQ sector just as you get enough MP to place the building. After that, they go to their important duty of spamming mines everywhere. I'm of the opinion that conscripts without PPShs suck for anything other than capping, recrewing team weapons, and throwing AT grenades. Haven't played a lot of Soviet 1v1 recently, so your mileage may vary. In: Red Army Strategies

Thread: weird bug after aftermath patch 23 Feb 2014, 17:32 PM Here's one I haven't heard anyone mention yet: In a 3v3 yesterday, I immediately queued up two conscripts from my HQ. They never started building, could not be cancelled, and stayed in the queue throughout the game. Eventually I was able to build other units/upgrades out of the HQ. The first two conscript "orders" remained in the queue, however, not building AND taking up space in the build queue (ie I could only make one thing at a time, because 2/3 of the queue was already "filled"). This had no effect on other buildings that I made. NB this happened in a game where one teammate got the "All commanders disappear after loading" bug. I forgot to save the replay.
