I really like the ideal of commando squad with rifles from Viper. They can use the same model with commando, being 4 man with 4 IS rifle without out of cover penalties and 2 weapon slots allowing elite bren.
Light gammon and others abilities can be the same.
This will make the HQ glider completely distinction from commando glider, along with commando team weapons. |
IS have no reason to have access to demolition weapon.
May be IS have access to demolition weapon have something to do with teching a last tier specialized tech with offensive theme ._. |

You have many nice ideas.
Fist is the UC: i will do just 2 things:
- Allow it to cap when unupgrade.
- Upgrade gain immunity again snare.
British grenadier squad is the ideal i like the most.
- 4 man squad with 4 rifles and no weapons slot.
- Have 2 rifle grenade launcher, aka cup discharger.
- can fire 4 rifle like normal sections but lower dps - 3 rifles.
- Have a grenade barrage, fire 4 grenades, AOE profile like standard grenade, 5 more range than MG like you proposed. Free, fast cd.
- a smoke grenade shoot like that of echelon but longer range.
Emplacements:
- I proposed an ideal pretty much like your a while ago, with some difference in implementation.
- Each emplacement have "demount" ability, on activate, "demount" call in an Universal carrier from the HQ, move up to the position of that emplacement.
- emplacements demounted will be "carried" by the Universal carrier.
- The Universal carrier then can move to new location and "rebuild" the emplacements it carry.
T3:
- Infantry aura should be given to churchill as an upgrade. Give it tank Commander upgrade like cromwell/comet.
- Cromwell cost down to 105 fuels.

Ok, officer reinforce cost reduce is good and 30 is reasonable for that power lv. As i understand, reduce in vet 3 bonus but at the same time increase mid dps is an attempt to improve performance at vet 0 and tone down vet 3. Still, i dont know how this change will turn out but i'm starting to feel a bit like viper's concern.
About UI, currently, officer's symbol have a parachute and 3 square, indicate that he have rank of captain. As the unit is now stock, i suggest give him a new symbol of just 2 square, get rid of the parachute and show that he now a lieutenant - platoon officer.
Repairable gilder is a straight forward step, very nice. But built-able MG/AT is a downgrade. At least, crews should be commando models with some bonus like faster setup/teardown time, more accuracy, rate of fire,etc. And a mortar should definitely be in there. Cp requirement of HQ glider can be down to 2, if it only produce team weapons. Or, like Viper said, a 4 man commando squad with rifle and elite bren tag.

event pre dec2019 patch, 4 man sections behind sandbags still often lose to charging spios with the exceptions of some extreme RNG 2 models drof before point blank, and even then, 3 models sectios vs 2 models spio point blank is till RNG for sections.

My point is, you was talking about bring churchill rear armor inline with other heavy but at the same time leave it front armour and gun profile at medium lv ? Is the hit point only can off set all of its other drawbacks ? |
What I have said about Churchill is that in need its rear armor lower to be inline with other heavy units.
I'm ok with bringing things inline, but in that case, can the front armor of churchill can be brought inline with other heavy, too ? Currently, standard churchill front armor is at OKW P4 lv. |
