But for AT vehicles, the US have the fewest options. Stuart is the next best thing (not counting medium tanks for anyone). Ost has stug,panther, OKW has puma,jp4,panther, Brits have AEC, Firefly, Comet, Sovs have su76, su85 That doesnt mean the Jackson shouldnt be tweaked, but I think the reasoning for it being better than Firefly and su85 is the surrounding vehicle roster Shermans are pretty good no? When Axis rear armor are now 90-117, bunch of Sherman variations are your AT vehicles. In: COH2 Balance

Not only that USF is arguably the most munitions-reliant faction in the game but what you do if the tank just moves away and comes back in 30 sec? Thread: M36 Jackson5 Jun 2019, 15:55 PM I think the Jackson range should go down to 50 to balance its great moving accruacy. It is also cheaper than Panther and takes up 2 pop less, and when you consider self repairs vs another 5 pop pio squad...it all adds up. Stock Jackson with AP already fuck Axis tanks bad. Once Vet, it fires like crazy fast and ignores vet panther armor even without AP rounds. In normal enagagements, it probably is able to make 3 shots against Panther 1, so the 960 panther HP does not justify it being more costly than Jackson... In: COH2 Balance

You do know rear armor is 50% of the tank. It is 100% possible and very much happening that even panther is taking 160 damages from the side by med tanks. In: COH2 Balance

It's also unlikely to make a difference to the Panther: all mediums have at least 120 near penetration. That's the point. Range shot should be for td. Med tanks need to put some work coming at axis tanks. Same way axis now have to push, micro stop to shoot. In: COH2 Balance

It make allies med tanks max range shot harder to deal 160 damage. Makes more sense with tiering. Cheap sherman t34 or aec still deals heavy damages just because. Doing so will preserve axis tanks for more AT duties In: COH2 Balance

It is akin to making allies td to 50 range/or no pen vet/ap rounds. Imagine playing with this kind of td stats. The jadpanzer while have the range, its pen is bad, still more worthy than a stug though In: COH2 Balance

Churchill may have 15% longer reload, but it is 50% more accurate on move, 28% faster tracking, pens panther 'rear' at all ranges, and better far aoe against infantry. While i wont 1v1 Churchill against panther, i also say panther is no hard counter against it. You need heavy micro to keep its 260 armor facing its fast turning high accurate gun... funny you think that panther shouldn't go against allies td, but here the situation, panther are not effective counter. Btw i do think p4 gun is impotence against late allies tanks, especially heavies. Hence we got this topic. How you guys think of this match, double kv1, axis player no choice to drop. After the critical hit was nerfed this can allows to counter tank hunters. Also since Jackson got more HP I see no real balance problem with that. At the moment british PaK is more useful, because of its quick setup and has same dps stats as PaK40. Im glad brit pak will be less deadly against light vehicle in next patch. I will also say usf pak with crazy rof and tungsten ap round is as deadly. I mean that's the case aint it. Wehr units may look good on raw stats but allies more than make up with side abilities and combined arms, achieving better performance for the cost. Like Churchill is only 16 pop and 5 man IS is 8pop. Panther is 18 pop and 4 man gren is 7pop. In: COH2 Balance
