You prbably didn't feel too bad about it. You do what you thought strongest. Breaking Brad did the same. I'm not saying it makes for a fun game but this is the way of the world, sadly. When you have used ISUs, flamer HTs, snipers+guards+button - did you feel bad? I don't think you did. Now the shoe is on the other foot and you don't like it. I understand you! I don't like these things either. I don't want a game full of cheese. I'll be glad to see the Kubel changed if the other early vehicles get nerfed too. But the main point is that if you've used something horrible against other players, you can't expect other players not to use it against you. I was extra glad we won vs such abuse. I think if you used an ISU more than 3 times, you have lost any right to complain about other players abusing. Especially if what they're "abusing" is the Kubel when Soviets have plenty of counters to it. T2 has AT gun, maybe you didn't know. You, Aerohank, play to win, you find the strongest stuff, you don't care if it's horrible to play against. Don't complain when others do it. It used to be maxim maxim maxim vonmaxim, now it's sniper sniper sniperian / rifle rifle rifle rifle captain AAHT / Volk volk kubel kubel puma pzrfusilier pzrfusilier pzfusilier. Not bad strats per se but boring when you see it every time D: Esports Players will play to win and so they should. But if the developer wants the game to be popular on Esports (to sell more games and DLC and future titles) then they have to make it so the players will produce an interesting game, not cheesy boring BS. No-one's gonna tune in or buy a ticket to watch 8 Maxims troll around. That is why the game's not ready for Esports. Oh and the multitude of bugs, the lag, the badly-dubbed voice files that make all sov and axis units sound like they're from anywhere but Russia and Germany. In: Replays

This really isn't the replay to base balance discussions on with all the mistakes. And USA was floating around 1000MP for a while. I also though a pack howitzer or two and the stuart mortar thing with an AT gun would have let him destroy the flak in the middle and take the game easily. USF player also built 7 munitions caches? Obviously OKW is OP if they can defeat 7 fuel caches! In: Replays

While grens are good and better than Sov core inf, they're not the reason MG42s aren't being spammed. It's because of higher se-up times, lower damage and molotovs. These things make it impossible to do a Jellydonut/Vonivan 8-maxim strat. I think it's good the MG42 can't be spammed. I just wish the Maxim couldn't either. Not because it's "OP", just because it's viable and makes the game goddamn boring! In: COH2 Balance

Nothing more fun then wiping 4-5 squads while their owner a-moves them between buildings. It's the perfect way to punish anyone who builds infantry. It practically disables harrassing points, you have to send a detector unit around with a grenade-throwing unit. Generally it's hard to spare that much manpower for harrassing so you often have to just accept you can't do it. Or expect to lose squads to the 2-click cheese-bomb. #2clickcheese Why the hell do soviets even need demo? So Axis can never garrison a house ever again? There's no bunker spam in this game. They should make it auo-detonate after 5-seconds. That leaves the demolition ability in the game without the silly hidden death button. Remove it or just give it to Axis for a while, then see what the soviet/ami players say when they're losing their vetted inf squad by squad to a 2-click weapon. In: Lobby

They also have a non-doctrinal HMG. But anyway, as Hagen said, each faction is a little unique. Sovs have a sniper and demo charges, which OKW has nothing similar too. The vet also offsets the crippling fuel deficit. In: COH2 Gameplay
