Mind-machine interface exists. It's called "Windows" and it's awesome.
But yeah, direct interface has gotta come some day.

Thread: Are kubelwagens OP22 Sep 2014, 00:20 AM
Maxim is also fairly mobile, also unsuppressable (you can suppress but it'll still shoot) and had such low reinforce costs, the bleed was negligible. Now the Kubel has appeared, people who defended the Maxim are complaining. Yet I have not seen even 1 replay with 6-8 Kubels and I've seen dozens with that many Maxims. Because the Soviets have great counters to the Kubel. Don't get me wrong, I'm against having suppression units that can be spammed. It slows the game to a crawl and makes it boring as hell. Which is what Maxims were doing for so long. The point of my post is why people who defended the Maxim tooth and nail are now complaining about a unit that causes exactly the same problem but which can be countered in T1/T2 by soviets. "If the kubel was just recon, utility and light damage, it would be fine." Strange I've never seen you or any soviet-biased player (I'm axis biased, sure) say this about the M3HT. That unit has cost this game more players than any other. minimum fun maximum frustration. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: Next possible changes for Soviet fraction.21 Sep 2014, 17:59 PM
380MP B4 would help Soviets break Axis armour, 2-shot kill on KT and Jagd, this is necessary for soviet because they have weak mans. If soviet mans buffed to Obers level, and B4 380mp, game is balanced! But seriously, OP, why are you only proposing buffs? Soviets have weak units that need to be stronger but they have goddamn strong units that would need to be weaker. And any changes that don't involve the soviet sniper losing his little buddy = bad. Change the sniper, delete the goddamn ht from T1, buff the core inf, nerf dem shocks a bit, make the su-85 useful (it seems to have no real role), buff the t34 a bit. and definitely DO NOT reduce B4 cost to 380 MP, nonono. Thread: Game REALLY needs a patch21 Sep 2014, 17:50 PM
Is playing as Axis so bad? My advice is to do the same to your opponents to see how they counter it. Then you can copy them when you play sovs again. In: Replays |
Thread: Advanced Capture Technique but really a bug21 Sep 2014, 15:43 PM
Inverse, you can say what you want. This is not right. Units are not meant to get stretched out like that. If it was then it would be in the description of the gameplay infos ingame. It is a result of bad or not complete programing of the engine. I don't think that Relic knew that and still left it in the game. Some hyper active player discovered it, that does not mean that it is ok to use it tho. Because you are hangup on the word Abuse i will say that it is an exploit! It isn't abuse or an exploit because every faction can use it equally. I understand the argument that truck-pushing is abuse (I don't agree but I understand) because only OKW has it. But if a mechanic can be used by every faction, then it's not abuse. Just learn it and use it. And I agree that the term "abuse" is being thrown around way too lightly. For example Maxim spam isn't abuse. It's Maximum spam, minimum micro. Annoying and boring as hell to play against / watch but is not abuse. In: COH2 Gameplay |
Thread: @relic: new grenade bug 18 Sep 2014, 21:49 PM
Is it a bug? I know it's a change but it might not be a bug. Most units would not benefit from being able to continue to move while throwing a grenade. Only shocks and they're goddamn strong anyway. When they keep moving and throw a grenade, it's very hard to see the animation and know you should move. I say keep it this way. In: COH2 Bugs |
Thread: Bars are the worst upgrade in the game.18 Sep 2014, 21:45 PM
If you want a constructive discussion, then please try to not showcase stuff in the way that profits your points omitting anything that doesn't fit. Anyone thinking OP is right just needs to read this post by Milka then unbunch their panties. If it doesn't convince you continue by reading Jinseual's post. Rifleman are very good from the very start of the game and continue to be good with BARs at he correct range. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: Does anyone else have dreams about playing matches?18 Sep 2014, 21:37 PM
All the damn time. I don't like to play in the evenings for that reason. If I have a frustrating game against a cheesy strat it is pretty much guaranteed to happen. you mean "when" you have a fristratng game against a cheesy strat I get the same. Sometimes when I'm in a rush to get home I think about the letter "T" :/ Seriously, my lft index finger twitches... In: Lobby |
Thread: Most requested unit in coh2 history...18 Sep 2014, 21:31 PM
You do realize USF army are based on battle of bulge? You realise that we have Americans fighting in Stalingrad and Kursk? Therefore everything is possible in the CoH2 universe! You keep saying "it'll never happen" about things and yet they happen. Open your mind, Katitof. Open your mind... I think Relic will change their minds and add it. Why not, heavy tanks are fun. And I disagree about the other doctrines disappearing. It was in CoH1 and it was one of the most rarely seen units in the game. Everyone loved it but there was a lot of attractive stuff in the other docs. In: COH2 Balance |
Thread: New Jaeger Light Infantry v. Pathfinders18 Sep 2014, 14:07 PM
OK, so I want to take a look at the comparison between the newly changed Jaeger Light Infantry and the good old pathfinders, and compare their usefulness on the battlefield. It's a well-written post but I don't think you should compare individual units. Compare the whole doctrine. And you'd probably need to factor in each faction's base infantry too. Rifles > Volks. If both elite inf call-ins in AB were superior or or equal to JLI, that would combine with USF's core infantry superiority and there would be a serious problem. In: COH2 Balance |
