The dropping of COHO was the worst decision made in the history of ever. Would've expanded the CoH community 6-fold considering it was a free to play online game with a lot of customization, even if it was ridiculous at first, I loved it, coulda actually been what LoL and Dota currently are. Sad it was closed down.

I still remember a couple of years ago (when I started watching replays through Internet) that there was a caster whose name was Harlequin.
Does anybody know something about him? his voice and energy was perfect to make me stay on the screen watching that amazing game (Company of heroes).
I think this guy would be perfect to be invited to the SNF events. |
T34/85 for sure. Because it comes earlier and can start killing infantry in mid game.
I think all the heavy tanks should be shaped/balanced as IS-2. Heavy to receive some damage, stronger than any other tier tank but not that strong to wipe enemy infantry or tanks.
I would balance Tiger/ISU-152 and Elephant like that tank. |

Another Idea might be make that unit as a mix of a Hummel and an Elephant.
Default bullet = anti/tank. But you have a barrage ability that can be used as a howitzer. Is the ISU-152 a mobile howitzer? then let's shoot barrages, not auto firing....
That's what I don't understand, how Relic can make this without testing. This kind of errors are making players to LEAVE the game. |
2 months of OP ELE/ISU is too much.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND how Relic/Peter not only allow this to stay as is it, but they CHANGED IT from the last patch (we had not that problem, the only problem was the elephant)
This makes me doubt of the proffesional skills on the actual balance team. this is not about complaining about loosing, it's about strategical depth that should be the BRAND of the Company of Heroes 2 saga.
Now 2 more factions will come (and they are welcomed) but that will make the game broken again (it's normal), people tend to find Quick wins abuses and I'm sure that should be detected in alpha/beta test.
What I mean is that they should have fixed the MAJOR bugs/exploits from RUS/OST before introducing the new armies. |
It's easy if they enable switching form HE/ Piercing Rounds like other tanks have.
HE = low damage to prevent squad wiping, set penetration low, set AOE hight.
P Rounds = High damage, high penetration, low AOE.
With that you prevent the abuse, and you have a unit that can be used to kill infantry and tanks. |
Yesterday I played 4 games. In all of them the enemy built ISU-152 first.
We, as a team, always wait for commander pick just in case we see the ISU-152 to pick up elephant doctrine.
I had 5xVet 3 grens on this game, all upgraded with LMG42, 3 of them died from 1 shot wipe by ISU, at long range, I had no chance to avoid it, they were not blobbed, they were behind a wall covering VP's. The other 2 died by ISU as well but not as a full squad (3 men and 2 men , trying to faust the ISU). They could faust it and we could kill that ISU.
Few minutes later, the enemy had fielded 3 more ISU. they both went on ISU doctrine, with guard spam. All my infantry that was dealing good with enemy infantry died (not because of bad micromanagement as I told before) that makes the Elephant weak if you don't have anti infantry to support.
This game is fking broken, I wish ELE/ISU to get away this game, these are anti-strategy units.
