Thread: Winter balance (1/2020) feedback - UKF6 Mar 2020, 00:15 AM Jump back to quoted post1 Mar 2020, 00:01 AMKobal the flare sections in the preview have the drop smoke ability replacing the normal key to reinforce. The 'normal' meaning the non-grid-based hotkey? In: Lobby
Thread: When to reduce Panzerwerfer and Stuka Zee Fuss performance?2 Mar 2020, 14:40 PM This thread should've been over after the second post. If there's one thing one is expected to learn after spending time with CoH2 is that you don't balance the game based on 3v3/4v4 spamfest. You don't even take 2v2s into account most of the time when making balance decisions. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: To the patch team28 Feb 2020, 14:37 PM Jump back to quoted post28 Feb 2020, 14:29 PMSuperHansFan Some people forget how laughably broken the game was in the past. Like the old TA that could two shot SU85s from range and wipe squads almost instantly. Two minutes vet 3 gren that could upgrade g43 and mg42. Soviet mines that would one shot any four man unit that ran into them. Comets criss-crossing the map at F1 speeds, eating everything on their way? Emplacements bringing back CoH:ToV British Sim City PTSD? Volk Schreck blobs descending on everything like a locust swarm, in the spirit of vCoH Recoilless Para blobs? 2+ ISU 152s from a single player in a match evaporating everything on two legs? Planes incinerating entire armies on crashing? Uncounterable Soviet snipers in clown cars? We are in a heaven of balance compared to where we used to be. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: How to reducing USF's reliance on Jackson28 Feb 2020, 12:26 PM Jump back to quoted post28 Feb 2020, 08:24 AMblancat If Jackson is nerfed, the USF faction itself can fall So we need to give the USF new options and nerf Jackson This presumes the Jackson needs to be nerfed. Unless this can be demonstrated and proven, the entire wall of text that followed this in the OP is irrelevant. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Its like Usf is just super powered27 Feb 2020, 13:15 PM Jump back to quoted post26 Feb 2020, 03:28 AMCODGUY They don't have fancy shock engineer cqb units It's called asymmetrical balance. Jump back to quoted post26 Feb 2020, 03:28 AMCODGUY they don't have a super OP MG thats available right off the bat It's called asymmetrical balance. And there's nothing "super OP" about an early HMG for factions that need it, like Ostheer and UKF. Jump back to quoted post26 Feb 2020, 03:28 AMCODGUY useless ambulance How on earth is the unit that safeguards you from needless low-HP MP bleed - allowing you to stay in engagements - and saves you MN for healing compared with some other factions, useless? Are you trolling or do you even know what ambulance does? I hate L2P comments but there's nothing else one can respond with to this silliness. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: September Balance Patch preview [SPBP] - general discussion26 Aug 2019, 11:23 AM Jump back to quoted post25 Aug 2019, 05:33 AMspajn Thank god for the vet3 change to grenadiers. I can't tell how many "won" games i have lost as ostheer due to my vet3 grens getting wiped left right and center from RNG explosive damage. Maybe its time to return to coh2 when this patch drops. I feel you bro. Reading the line "with only 4 models, they get wiped too easily once heavy indirect fire and big guns start roaming the battlefield" in 2019, about five years too late, was a bittersweet moment. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: DBP Commander Revamp brainstorming10 Nov 2017, 15:57 PM I think Ostheer's Jaeger Infantry Doctrine is too packed with munitions-dependent abilities, which makes some of them impossible to use in matches as you never have that many resources. I would prefer either seeing one ability replaced by non-MN one (arty officer maybe?) to relieve the MN reliance, or making that even more efficient by replacing one ability with the Opel Blitz truck to help players with the MN situation. I would pick the Stuka Close Air Support ability for this replacement, as it fits less well into the commander's elite infantry theme than the other abilities it has. P.S. Thank you for asking the community for their ideas on this. In: COH2 Gameplay
