I think there is too much exposure, what I mean is. When I played rts, I didnt even know that game forums existed, till one guy said ''Hey, your pretty good, if you really wanna improve, check out this site''
I played the game and it was fun, figured out stuff on my own.
Now kids are being ''told'' how to play, watching streams, reading up on strats and stats. Like Plaguer said, not even knowing why this is or that is not viable, but still copying builds and styles. Its cooky cutter, youll win games, but your not gonna truly improve, unless ofcourse you keep playing, and trying stuff for yourself, and figureing out stuff for yourself. |

Why dont you upload some replays of your play? Im sure there are one or two chaps that could help you out. |

On topic, its true though. Every game forum is toxic these days.
How many new players watch replays instead of casts or live streams to muse? How many out of those would take the time to watch they own replay to do the same?
I play brits mainly these days. Tbh im not close to pro level, but the stuff that people complain about barely affects me, and I do stupid / non standard things often and still win more so than not.
I feel lame for saying this but I do believe its the new generation. Feel free to hate me for saying this |

Repairing of self is doctrine specific.
I was messing around with Boffors last night in 1v1 and had some insanely weird / fun games, haha!
Anyway, regarding your post. The OKW player that beat me used a flame barrage, I believe from his stuka. That worked really well.
I did not go with royal engineer though, so I dont know if it can tank the flames in self repair. |
