Thread: hull_down ability18 Dec 2018, 14:35 PM Hi. Have been testing a bit with the "Hull Down" ability from the Osther faction, I want my rear echelon troops to be able to Hull down AEF and British vehicles. Have been cloning upgrades, abilities and commander abilities, but somehow I'am not able to fortify my tanks. I do have the ability ingame, and have added the ability to the rear echelon, but when I try the ability on a tank it just says "too far away" or something. What am I missing? have someone done this before? In: Modding and Tools

Thread: Error message in modbuilder11 Dec 2018, 20:32 PM Hi. Need some help here. Suddenly the mod prompts me with errors, was away to see a movie, and when I come back and was re-opened the mod-file in attribute editor I got 32 warnings. I checked them. was thinking oh well, lets just try to build it, and see if it will go away. But no sir, apparantly when I try building the mod I get this message: "Error building H3.mod: Game path not set." I mean, I was away for an hour, the last thing I did was to check if the mod worked, and it did. Does anyone know whats going on? The warning. (1 out of 32) File reference "animator" in file (c:\users\morten87\desktop\h3\instances\ebps\races\common\buildings\research\brit\researchbuilding_mp.xml) references a file that doesn't exist (art\armies\soviet\structures\base_building_1\base_building_1.abp; art\armies\soviet\structures\base_building_1\base_building_1.rgo; art\armies\soviet\structures\base_building_1\base_building_1.rgm). But sadly there is no way to add permanent objects to vehicles while they are moving because of the limitations of the tool. Question #2 - Yes, that is possible to do. Question #1 is it possible to add objects (sandbags/ bushes) to vehicles? was thinking of making a custom upgrade for tanks. Question #2 Is it possible to change value of an upgrade, depending on previous upgrades? Ect. Players have 3 avalible upgrades. 1A, 1B, 1C. The player can choose whoever upgrade he wants, but once he select on, the cost of remaining other 2 will increase. Is this something that is possible? In: Modding and Tools
