This guy was tough, great infantry play on his part as Germans, He had me completely contained for most of the game even though its supposed to be Russians(supposedly) having early advantage and map control. But he was careless with his vehicles which allowed me to stay in the game. I think this is a good replay to watch as a German player to see how to use your infantry very well and also what not to do with your tanks . And I think on my part I showed good perceverance and patience waiting for my moment even though pretty much stuck in my base till the end.

Watching the Replay again myself he even had me down to Zero points on the map at one point ... Zero! Wow

Also He probably would have won this easily if he skipped tanks altogether and continued to bolster his infantry forces which he was doing quit well with. I think sometimes German players pidgeon whole themselves into thinking they have to get tanks to win which imo is not true at all Germans can have a very strong infantry game as well and imo opinion can sometimes cost themselves games by overly relying on armour(and being careless with said armour).

Good game I tried scout cars just for shits and giggles(don't usually use em because they slow your tech and have minimal return imo) well as usual my scout cars aren't that effective and Im trying to hang onto my fuel for dear life when a p4 gets in my grill I just barely get an at gun out in time to ward him off and from there it gets crazy lots of P4, Panther, Brumbarr the works.

Its because Germans are super easy to play and don't really have any pressure no matter what tech choice u make u will have everything u need.

Here is a game between me and Basilone kinda a long one and entertianing in my Oppinion anxious to hear your thoughts.

I am trying to work on the Control Groups like you said but I am not having much luck I have no problems making the groups but I cant seem to remember to use them or change them up so that they are convienant. Sometimes I feel like there is a fog over my brain and I get so absorbed in the game I cant think, its tunnel vision and Its really holding me back I know it is. Maybe you have some suggestions on how to train for control groups that will help me get it going in the right direction. I want very badly to improve my game and be able to compete but sometimes I get discouraged and think about quitting because I have not seemed to improve in 2 years+ I really need you help Peter. I am very happy that you are my Mentor
