Either by winning the qualification tournament outright or getting as far as possible and accumulating GCS2 points. This is a full schedule of streams and structure for GCS2 Qualification Tournament 2 'Citadel'. On both days the games will start at 14:00 BST, to check your timezone please see the GCS2 Schedule ________________________ Day 1 - Saturday 14th July Bracket quarters go 1 -> 4 downward, based on an example bracket that looks like this. Final brackets to be released on GCS2.ORG following check ins. Players featured depend on check-ins, the numbers in brackets are seeds. allies Bracket Quarter 1 Stream Reserved for Imperial Dane. Most likely featuring [1] VonIvan and [8] Refero axis Bracket Quarter 2 Stream Reserved for FaHu. Most likely featuring [4] Talisman and [5] Aimstrong allies Bracket Quarter 3 Stream Reserved for Stormless and Guest. KT armour with much better mobility and turret traverse makes it super hard to kill. Sure, I agree that it's the worst heavy tank offensively, its scatter and reload are bad. But it costs far less than KT and it doesn't have the KT's horrible immobility and turret traverse - it's an excellent spearhead tank. It's a perfect complement to Soviet T3 play, and high ranked streamers use it/encounter it fairly often. Uhm the game not being played to its potential probably. With GCS2 making players like DevM and VonIvan etc. try their absolute hardest to find the exact meta and experiment along the way, it actually gives you a much fairer and more accurate way of playing the game. Sure the IS2 is probably dog shit in the hands of me a casual 1v1 automatcher. But when it's been played as part of a DevM, penal ptrs, guards, sniper, and zis gun build it's not going to be bum rushed and taken out and it'll be allowed to achieve its potential. But if something talks like a duck, looks like a duck and moves like a duck. It's more than likely that it is a duck. This, the players that are famous for always playing Brits in tournaments have stopped, the ones that still try to do so lose... Yet some people would rather pretend it's not a duck. It's a duck! So the only other way to make Brits good is making them totally overperform in specific areas which just leads to section spam or crom spam or comet spam or vickers spam or whatever the unit that gets made op is spam. There's a bunch of stuff you can give Brits that make them good without being totally obnoxious but it's just air if Relic don't want to change anything about the faction but unit values. I agree that they need new stuff, but disagree that Relic aren't open to fundamentally adding new stuff. Historically: OKW were formally the worst faction in CoH2 from a design perspective... I mean they still are but they're now viable and palatable from a balance perspective due to the adding of the Panzer IV, the MG34, and the moving of schrecks to SPs. Before those three changes OKW were a shitstain, after that they're just a bit rubbish, but acceptable. In: COH2 Balance

I don't think they can, not even against LMG grens. And their economy does not allow to field better or more vehicles then others to compensate for incapable infantry. That would lead only to a completely crippled faction and creation of conscripts 2.0. Oh good point, how about... Bren guns can button? Yeah let's just do that bren guns can button! wahoo! OKW stood ther ground without snares when they had shreks. Last thing we need is more A move blobs that can hit ai and at like guards. The idea of choosing between snares and piats + 5 man sounds good. What about snares and piats or 5 man and brens? In: COH2 Balance

Hans said repeatedly on stream, he said he couldn't make them work and has had to lean on USF instead. Aimstrong is in this thread on the first page being sarcastic and annoyed at the gradual nerfs, he is very much of the opinion Brits have been slowly nerfed into uselessness. Hans has played nothing but Brits as Allies in tournaments for two years before this tournament most notably winning the final ESL EU Major. Aimstrong played nothing but Brits as Allies in tournaments for three years before this tournament, most notably getting runner up in OCF. I'm not suggesting that these players didn't use the crutches Brits needed to be successful, I'm saying that Brits are absolutely worthless at an elite level without those crutches. You can deny these statistics all you like, you can pretend the two most successful Brits tournament players ever don't know what they're on about or were 'crutch' players. But quite frankly over the next few weeks the rest of the tournaments will further prove you wrong, and I'll ping this thread to remind you. In: COH2 Balance
