This way it adheres to the voice line, but offers an interesting but counterable playstyle, I'd have a tooltip pop up for enemy too so they knew that there was infantry moving along cover points at 1.2x speed to flank you. Would certainly be more interesting than removing unit icons from the map. In: COH2 Balance

Yes it may have been 'cool' the fact that Isildur/Noggano saved it to counter one player in a Commander Terminator scenario, but now it's been discovered to literally counter players such as yourself or Asiamint... imagine a tourney with no commander limitations...... Thread: [Winter Balance Update] OST Feedback12 Jan 2021, 13:21 PM Having played 10 competitive games as wehrmacht on the balance mod, I can confirm that they do seem a lot more viable in 1v1 when not using crutch infantry like ostruppen and assault grens. At least at my level when playing against rank 200-400 opponents. I attribute this to the gren/mg42 formation changes, and the t70 nerf. Most of the people in this thread have probably not even played 1 game on the balance mod, they shouldn't even be allowed to express their opinion on this topic in my genuine opinion. Yes I'm gatekeeping, there should be a rule: "play before you form your opinions or STFU". We've all been guilty of this in the past but it doesn't mean we can't change. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: RNG28 Dec 2020, 11:53 AM Why are the pro RNG guys getting counfused between what's been talked about here we have: A) functional RNG, affecting the regular mechanics of the game in an evenly distributed and understandable way. Most people are fine with this, it highlights the strategy and tactis of CoH, and devalues the mechanical elements, which is the style of CoH that we all like. B) cinematic RNG, affecting one player in a huge and unpredictable way with little to no counter play or player input involved. With B you consider RNG that makes the game less fun to play/watch for the competitive scene, so if there's an option to remove it for competitive games only that should be our approach. Can we ensure we're on point/message here, no one is against A, and if they are I haven't seen them speak here. In: Lobby
