Thats not OP, you just wasted so many options and resources to one specific "combo" and a real expensive one. want rifle flare on OKM?? OST jaeger have them, they are rarely used. you want that? Already Pzfusiliers have them too, not original change at all. Still want flares nerfed?? NERF THEM ALL. What I said earlier, many flares gives you sight for so much time, even mortars get accurate shots, i mean thats cheessy and sort of "maphack". Make them last a few seconds, buildings light up with it will remain "visible" but not targetable, sort of like what tracking does. Edit: Damn i want a revamp on all flares now! No more Fog of War revealing! Thats cheaty! Now they only do reveal invisible units inside their range. Same lifespan. Costs to be considered. OKW flares are more like a spell from dungeon keeper than any other flare ability you just click half way across the map into the FoW and instant, pinpoint, long lasting recon that can't be shot down like aircraft can. Rifleman flares and british arty flares will never see past the frontlines in 4vs4 so all those juicy targets like retreat points and howitzers are safe in the rear lines. great job ignoring why the ability is problematic, your logic is basically "well the old tiger ace wasn't OP because the soviets get a heavy tank too..." It cant shoot down planes has low armor and very Little Damage. It shots barely Damage infantry even when they do hit. It is always better to go for panzer 4 instead since it has more AI which is Kind of ridiculous. IMO this unit is the worst unit in the game, and unlike the M10 this unit doesnt get a buff next patch.. I Suggest buffing the Ostwinds AOE or DMG and gving him some ability to actually shoot down planes it provides basically the same AI ability as centaur it could do with a AA buff but thats it. It really does not need buffs. Only reason we don't see a lot of them these days is because Ostheer T4 got buffed so hard and a brumbar just demolishes AT guns as well as inf. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Tiger 1 need a very little Buff in dmg27 Oct 2018, 14:53 PM The Comet is just an overpriced crappy tank that needs buffs to panther level so im not sure why people are comparing cost-performance to comet with tiger. The reason we don't see as many tigers is because A: mobile defence/command tank is still king and B: Panther buffs with health change have made it into the best lategame tank now (especially backed up with command tank aura and unkillable brumbar, tiger and T3 tanks just doesn't come close to this firepower). The tiger like the IS-2 is still a solid unit, but why pick a doctrine for one and lock yourself out of so many cheesy ostheer doc abilities when the above exists. Back when Mech assault was meta the tiger was still considered fine, tiger has received no major nerfs or redesign since then. In: COH2 Balance

Don't Obers already have much better DPS through vet? I mean yea they seem equal with double bren vs MG34 stock. but when ober hit vet 2+ commandos just bleed like stuck pigs. If commandos are going to have a long range focus with different weapon stats then make it a completely separate unit with separate vet to sten camo commandos. No use having the current vet suited around stens and ambush (smoke on retreat) if you are going to give them rifles. ---------------------------------- Line of choice ------------------------------------------ Or you could do the 180 turn around option and make regular commandos the elite Para/Obers type unit with long range DPS, while making brens a non fuel and MP upgrade for them (so double bren upgrade button for 90muni etc instead of currently having to pay fuel,mp and 90muni at HQ). Also buffing vet and removing camo to match those two units. Inf commandos could keep the sneak stealth camo role, stealth stens and current vet. This is a better option in my opinion and makes more sense. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Can USF get some real mines now please11 Oct 2018, 18:07 PM people are ignoring the key issue here, the fact USF already have mines. Just that they are tiered to an overpriced vehicle that gets bullied by a 200mp 15f 222. What I propose is put the mp cost down to 200 and pop cap to mirror the bren carrier, also increase the repair speed on heavy vehicles for the crew. Then we would see people building them lategame to polish off an army comp for mobile repairs and mines rather than a dead unit it currently is. It's a utility car but right now it's stuck between being an overpriced combat vehicle and a meh utility vehicle. If you want an interesting unit buff the utility side of it repairs, scouting, mine laying as already mentioned. This way USF can have their tool but in a unique flavour, kind of like how coming brit snares will be on royal engies. In: COH2 Balance

There are certain pro players who are toxic, others might be less toxic and others might be non-toxic at all. I think that most of you know about HelpingHans' rage (happened a long time ago, i wasn't even playing CoH2, nor i knew about the game). Depends on which way "anti-pros" are toxic. I respect pros for their skill, i will not doubt it for any reason. But attitude and skill are 2 different things. I might like a pro for his skill, but i might don't like him at the same time because of his attitude. Again, my admiration of this skills remains. PS : I'm toxic, but not in here. I'm toxic where i need to be toxic. And i know it's not a good thing and i must change that. Hans doesn't deserve to be namedropped here at all, I'm sure any of his viewers or fellow subs here will agree with me. Yes he got angry on stream once, but this sort of thing happens to the entire RTS community unless you are the Dude from The Big Lebowski. You have a bad day and the game throws up some stupid RNG or an idiotic teammate, so you get frustrated... BIG DEAL! He is one of the few European streamers that actually cares about the CoH2 community. He doesn't deserve being attacked like this. In: COH2 Balance
