You are the worst Allies fanboy I've seen in my entire playthrough of this game. Your opinions are not valid to me because you are extremely biased towards Allies in absolutely every aspect of the game. Okay I'll try to be unbiased and ask you some simple questions: Do you honestly think the M2 .50 cal at 280 MP and 7 pop (plus being locked behind LT tech) is a better MG than a 6 pop HMG42 available immediately at 260 MP? Do you honestly believe Rear Echeleons at 200 MP are a better engineer unit than Pioneers for the same price already equipped with SMGs and a flamethrower upgrade? Is USF's mortar better than OSTs for the same price? (Maybe now, finally but for the longest time it wasn't lol). Whatever you think of Cavalry Riflemen they are not really all THAT good and certainly not borderline game breaking like, JLI which ironically cost the same as Cavalry Riflemen but are way effective. Thread: M5A1 Stuart17 Mar 2019, 16:57 PM Do you build the Stuart and is it worth it? It is a good light vehicle and effective against all other light vehicles except the Puma. It is not the best against infantry but it can do the job. But like all light vehciles they are very vulnerable to handheld AT and they do cost quite a bit of fuel for a light vehicle (70) which could delay your T3 teching and result in a Panzer IV rush. The shreck upgrade currently changes their role, which IMO is good design. I'd like that upgrade from infantry doc to be a standard option tho. They are plenty blob feindly as it is. The proper way to do Panzergrens would be to have them start with 4 bolt action rifles with the option to either upgrade to two sckrecks OR four Stg44s for 120 munitions each. In: Ostheer Strategies
Thread: USF New meta16 Mar 2019, 18:45 PM From a 1v1 perspective are only two somewhat effective commanders for USF, Mechanized and Heavy Cavalry. Mechanized works the best because it fills a lot of gaps for USF and puts them on a more even footing with OST and OKW. Heavy Cavalry can work because you get a good infantry unit, and a decent heavy tank (although like most USF units they are still overpriced compared to what your opponent will have). They simply have no viable option to counter the combo of Ost mg spam with hordes of volks protecting it. Flanking is not viable due to the map size and you simply get out numbered by volks. USF can only bully ost with rifleman in 1v1 while their MG is not presence at anywhere with sufficient support. I know they're massively inferior to OST and OKW in 1v1 but I rarely play anything beyond that. Not really surprising though they're preformance would be even worse in team games. I just think the main reason USF is so bad is because you have to depend on Riflemen but Riflemen just don't preform, not for the amount of resources they take up. In spite of people quoting all these stats they're are just not effective unless you can afford to fully upgrade them but if you can do that you'd probably be winning without those upgrades anyway.
