Thread: [POLL] Double Panzershreck for Sturm + AT Fussie 31 Mar 2019, 10:43 AM I don't see any use at all for OKW Panzerbüchse when they already get the T0 Raketten, the single Schreck deterrent on Sturmpioneers and the Puma. OKW has no need for early-mid game softcounter AT; what they need is late game hardcounter AT that isn't vehicle-based to go after the Allied TD walls. Plus, you keep saying "the community voted against anti-tank" when it was the only poll that was super close. 47-49% of the community did want anti-tank. In: COH2 Balance

The IR STG44s actually have more DPS than the LMG34 at max range as long as the enemy unit is in cover, because of their 0.9 cover accuracy multiplier. Funny thing, build two of them and they can actually take on an AEC or a Stuart together. Same performance and price that the OP suggests. No need to buff the 222 on its own, that would be bad, as it is Ostheer's first response to Allied very light vehicles harassment (UC/M3/WC51) and needs to come on the field as soon as possible. Or did you base it on the fact that it is in T3 instead of T4? Or on the fact that almost all of its stats (less HP, less penetration, less range, less DPS) are T3-ish while the SU-85's are T4? The Stug is a T3 cheap intermediate tank destroyer that is meant to fight Allied light vehicles and does a good enough job against their mediums. Ostheer has the Panther for heavy anti-tank. Soviets have the SU-85 as the end tier heavy tank destroyer that is meant to fight mediums and heavies. The Stug is comparable to the SU-76, not the SU-85. In: COH2 Balance

It fits the theme much better than calliope which was never used in urban combat. So in your eyes slightly better sloped front armor gave it better protection in urban combat, where the biggest dangers are getting hit in the flanks or from above? Right.
