That would promote combined armored pushes against jacksons but still allow it to perform all the roles it needs to in the usf roster, just not at the same time (think isu152) Or just give usf easy 8's without a doctrine and buff its pen so it can go against panthers. Then we can nerf jakson fire rate and give it more pen so it remains good vs heavies. The easy 8's ai is pretty similar to the panthers ai currently, so I don't see an issue with a pen buff. I would make an extra tier for usf. The extra tier would have e8's, rocket arty, and maybe elite infantry. The tiger may be a little worse than the pershing at lower vets lvls. However, Tiger doctrines are better than the heavy cav doctrine, lightning war especially. Last time I saw pershing being used in a tournament, I saw ostheer knock it out twice with the tiger and stuka anti tank loiter. In: COH2 Balance

The only thing which is debatable is the insane sight range so they can spot HMGs long before entering the MG's arc of fire... but that would have to be addressed on JLI's and Pyrotechnical Inf sections as well. Whenever I saw someone crying about Pathfinder spam being a broken strat on stream, it was someone who tried to counter them with HMGs. If you just get a good amount of inf yourself and use cover with them, the Pathfinders can't do jackshit. The scoped M1 Garand Rifle has a terrible performance vs any sort of cover. 290 manpower spotter is expensive, and I don't think they are op when used like this. In: COH2 Balance

And pios are hardly capable fighting units. Avoiding mgs and being able to fight at long range reduces bleed which offsets high reinforcement. I don't think I'd change any raw stats but the extra sight at vet 1 should be moved to vet 2, or grant a larger sight boost at vet 3. Then build something other than mgs. Mgs and mortar spam should not be able to beat everything usf has. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: I think the comet tank is due for a buff.24 Jan 2019, 00:21 AM Ai is not the way to go since you go anvil for that. Upping its pen and range means it can fight vs panthers if it shoots first. It will still lose if the panther closes in or if the panther shoots first. In: COH2 Balance
